  1. I missed that but will definitely have a watch, looks good.
  2. I've not seen it before, pretty impressive really...........if it's real.
  3. That'll probably be your HFCs. Very common and should be nothing to worry about. If your HFC don't have extended sensor bungs/spacers fitted then its worth getting a pair and fitting them. Works 90% of the time. Pm Zmanalex or look for his thread CEL spacers.
  4. That was done by us a long time ago , way before Uprev was in the UK. Strange it has had HKS head gasket's fitted thou. It was a nice car when we last saw the car. Yeah, I thought that strange "The essential head gasket upgrade" I've not heard of anyone else with a Vortech needing that? Regarding longevity and mileage, no hard and fast rule. It's obviously had the best chance being fitted and tuned at Abbey in the first place and appears to have been well maintained. The V3 has it's own oil reservoir so oil needs changing separately from the engine oil. I would be checking the service history/looking for evidence of that, as a normal garage wouldn't change it unless asked to. My main concern would be why and when the head gasket was changed as this wouldn't normally need doing with the relatively low boost produced by the Vortech so could have been a failure at some point. Has the pulley been changed for more boost or is it the stock 3.33" ?? Have a read over on my350z.com, there are loads of threads about reliability and mileage...there are cars that blow at just a few thousand miles (usually a bad tune) and those that are set up nicely can do 150k +

  6. Welcome to the club. If your worried take it back and get it looked at. Its probably nothing but that's why you pay dealer prices, for the piece of mind of being able to take it back if you need to.
  7. Welcome to the club. Look forward to seeing/hearing more about the car when you get it. I'm an ex TT6 owner myself. It's a fair bit quieter on here than when I was on Supra.net but a very friendly, helpful bunch here.
  8. Will there be many there/much going on in the day tomorrow? I may be able to pop down for a few hours in the afternoon but won't be able to stay the night.
  9. Only just been able to watch the videos due to being blocked at work. Congrats on the results and flying the flag for the 350z. That last video of the speedo is awesome!!! Well done Tim.
  10. Looks very mean Love the lights! and 90% of the bumper, just the flat squared off bits in front of the lights that I'm not keen on. If that bit was a bit more rounded it would be spot on. Not alot you can do about that though. Cars looking

  12. If the motor is running does it's speed/ noise change when you pull the trigger? Also have you got a nozzle fitted to the lance? If there is no restriction, it won't come out at high pressure due to the higher flow.
  13. Finally got my new plate on - Works for me anyway.
  14. I think I would break into the fuel pump circuit just before it enters the fuel tank. This can be found behind the drivers seat. If you have the Bose speaker take that out, and you will see the cable in the void. From there you would have lots of options for switch position - glove box, centre cubby, behind or underneath the drivers seat, under the flap for the rear power socket etc.... I have pics of where the cable is somewhere, give me a shout if you need to see it.
