  1. Unfortunately I can't see the video at work but I do know that the codes repeat themselves, so it maybe repeating the same code or couple of codes over and over so it seems to be going on forever. I would recommend getting an OBDII reader of some sort, it makes it so much easier to deal with things like this. I've got a blutooth one from ebay for about £30 and it is spot on, well worth the money. Do you have an Android phone at all? If so there is a very handy App called "Torque" which allows you to do the same as well as many other things, with the benefit of having it in your pocket when you when you want it.
  2. If its serious, it will flash. If it comes back on, use the guide on here to read the fault code. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=89 It'll probably be catalyst inefficiency code or something similar due to your HFC. If it is, you can buy O2 sensor spacers from Zmanalex to fix it, or get the car Uprev'd to remove the codes and actually tune the car to make the most of your HFC and exhaust.
  3. You should have the same tyre both sides of each axle. The Re050a is a much better tyre than the fk452 so you would be better getting one of them. If you can't afford one then have a ring around your local tyre places for a decent part worn one, I'm sure you'll find one for £50 - £80. (make sure its not damaged) I would much rather part worn RE050A's then new FK452's even if I was getting a pair. If you HAVE to get the FK452 you need to get 2.
  4. Welcome to the club. Tidy looking Zed
  5. Hi and welcome. Regarding the oil ( I assume you for the brakes) I would recommend Motul RBF600 good for road and track use.
  6. You can get an aerosol can of sticky stuff remover from halfords. Works quite well. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165651
  7. Na, they don't always come on. Even if it did you could rest it and it never come back aswell. I would think the more air/gas your exhaust/mods flow the more likely it is to come on.
  8. Welcome to the club. I also had a 300zx, Surpra TT6, and now the 350z.
  9. I use Opie from time to time but it is well worth as I'm sure he can supply all you need at a good price and you will definitely get the correct or better items to use.
  10. That's quite interesting. So if I've read that right design 4 is best for down-force, and 2 is best for drag reduction and brake cooling?
  11. Have you tried Adrian Flux? Tesco? Bell? They have all been cheapest for me over the years. Also go on Moneysavingexpert.com - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insura ... -insurance and follow his guide, and go on the comparison sites in the order it states. It takes a while but I done it a couple of years ago on mine and my missus' cars and got very good results. Good luck.
  12. Am I the only one who's insurance has gone down this year? More power, more mods and still gone down (only a little). If your over 25 I would recommend trying Livingston Warman as advertised on here, they get a very big from me.
  13. Welcome to the club. Good to see your looking after it well already. Have a look around the traders here you'll get the plugs much cheaper. I would recommend the Denso Iridium. Much better plug and cheaper then the platinum that Nissan will sell you.
  14. No probs. You'll love it! I used to do them every year at RAF Marham when I was based there. I didn't have the 350 then but done the first couple in my 300zx then 3 or 4 in my Supra TT6. They really are great days. Sound like you'll be doing the right things, letting it cool down, building up your confidence etc.... Since your rears are nearly done, it would be rude not try a bit of sideways action, there really isn't a safer place to try these things.
