  1. I considered this one last year before I bought mine, I think it was 14k last summer. There was someone on here that put a deposit on it I think, then changed their mind due to something in the history that put them off. Have a search you may find it. It might actually be a very good buy if the previous work carried out (I think it was engine repairs) doesn't put you off. I'd be surprised if it is actually 400bhp as without a lot of supporting mods the Stillen supercharger struggles to reach that, maybe 360 -380. If your nearby I'd go and view it and see what you think. The sound of the Stillen is Also there is a very nice supercharged zed for sale on here if you have a look in the classifieds (Steady Zeddy). You may have to be quick though as I think he is beginning to part it. EDIT.....here is the thread I was speaking about. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=38590&hilit=stillen+supercharger&start=30
  2. You can do it without lifting it up very far mate, an inch is plenty. You can push the little tab/lever where the wiper joins the arm then just slide the wiper down towards the rear of the car. New one will just slide in and click into place.
  3. I keep thinking about doing this. Still can't decide, I may have a play on PhotoShop tonight.
  4. Changing the interior and exterior bulbs to leds. Much more modern looking and matches the xenons so you don't get a miss match of colours.
  5. Even though all seems well, I would have a close look at the tyre from time to time just to make sure you don't get any bulges in the side walls come up. An impact like that can de-laminate the layers of rubber and air can slowly pass through the inner layers causing it to balloon on the outside.
  6. Last year when selling the Supra TT and getting the Zed, the other car on the short-list was a TVR Cerbera 4.5. The Zed won partly due to me loving jap reliability, the history of the Zed and more modern feel but mainly because the missus hates TVRs as they are too loud, too dated and only old men drive them. Anyway, a mate of mine has a 4.5 Cerb and yesterday we finally managed to get together for a blast. So we met in a nice countryside location and had a nose at each others cars and a catch up...... We then proceeded to a private track for a bit of a blast........ To be honest I was expecting to get wasted by him considering the specs of the 4.5 Cerb - ~420HP and ~1100 kg to my ~400hp and ~1450kg but I was pleasantly surprised. We probably done 4 or 5 pulls from approx 10 leptons to 130 - 140ish and each time there was less than a car length in it. It seemed he would pull out about a car length from 40 to 80 then I'd claw it back after that. And through the twisties I was far more confident. We left the track and went to a near by beer garden to discuss our findings over a refreshing drink. Surprisingly to me he said he was pretty happy, as with the TVR's being hand built they can vary greatly on performance and never having his dyno'd he didn't know what it was running. As I have 400hp dyno sheets he was happy to be in the same ball park. We then swapped keys and and went for another drive. The noise was breath taking and the pops and bangs on overrun were It's been a dream of mine for 10+ years to own a Cerb but I can honestly say I would not swap my supercharged Zed for one. I knew they would feel very raw and basic, as lets face it, Nissan probably spent more money developing the 350's Air-Con than TVR did on the whole car, but I just didn't feel I was communicating with the road. It was more like I was on a passenger ride. The steering was too light and it just didn't feel planted. When accelerating it felt like it would loose traction far to easy and when exiting a corner I found myself feeling 'happy ' I'd made it round. Even he said he was surprised how planted mine felt in comparison. Don't get me wrong, these cars are awesome and will always have a place in my heart, but I think that's where it will have to stay. Reliability aside I just don't think I could own one.

    What pressure?

+1 I'd leave them with pressure in. The most important thing is that you lay them flat to avoid the flat spots.
  8. Yeah I know, was done buy the previous owner. That's the only one with any curb damage but the others do have some corrosion under the lacquer so they all need a tidy up.
  9. Yeah, I'm yet to try the clay. The paint didn't seem too bad, but when I was using the tech wax I noticed a few little peaks on the bonnet and roof so will give it a go soon.
  10. Very nice! Busy weekend for you then!

    Front bumper

If you like the stock front it maybe worth calling a few breakers. They may have one in the correct colour that you can just put straight on. I would think it would be the cheapest option. If it wasn't for the dent I would say a pro detailer could probably get rid of the welded fly parts.
  12. I think I normally keep my cars cleaner than your average driver but have never 'detailed'. It was a nice day and halfords still had 3 for 2 on so I took a drive to try some of the Meguires range. I bought gold class Shampoo, a kit which had clay, cleaner wax, Quik detailer with a microfibre cloth and another box with NXT shampoo, NXT tech2 wax, an applicator and another microfibre cloth. Didn't have all day so just washed, dried, cleaner wax then Tech wax.............it soooo shiny!!
  13. Only got a single disc player in mine, but yesterday in anticipation of the new album coming out I was listening to..... Foo Fighters - The colour and the shape. I'm gonna go for a drive in the sun today, just because I can. Today I think it will be Stone Roses - Second Coming, Marion - This world and body Buffalo Tom - Let me come over
