  1. Hi, you should pop a post up in here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3, get your post count up to at least 5 then BTW to the forum
  2. There is something in that TBH As someone said earlier in the thread, it's the same with dogs over here - some breeds of dogs are banned but irresponsible/thuggish/stupid/dangerous owners aren't, so will not solve the problem. Have you seen how much a bottle of JD is now
  3. As Paul said, not too many people look at doing manifolds due to possible labour costs/time (can be done with engine in, but easier with it out), so most will go with hi-flow cats. AEM do a decent CAI.IIRC Stew has the AEM CAI along with DC sports exhaust. Sounds
  4. DE = single intake, HR = twin intakes. If you're looking to go down the power route just a performance filter in the OEM airbox will give best results once mapped. Things like pop chargers, CAI etc are more for show and noise, and can suffer from power loss, heat soak or in the(rare, but can happen) case of long tube intakes (e.g. mounted behind lower bumper) water being taken into the engine leading to bigger problems
  5. Eibach all the way 100% stay clear of cheap and nasty. I doubt that Halfords (or whoever makes them for Halfords) will make them specifically for the Zed. I wouldn't like to risk either the safety of my car or life using possibly inferior made "generic" parts that may or may have had the same R&D that branded equivalents will have had. I'm don't know who makes them for Halfords, so i'm not in a position to say either way. If you want peace of mind do a bit more research then
  6. 100% on the ball. We sell quite a few pressure washers (Wickes branded, but made by Lavor) and the manufacturers recommend having decent pressure from the tap. Although, even with this in mind, it still amazes me when a customer tries to return one that "doesn't work" only to be told they switched it on before even connecting the hose from the tap - yeah, because you've burnt out the pump A few manufacturers, either via leaflets in the box or websites, sell pumps or suction hoses to use with water butts/ponds to ensure an adequate supply of water to the internal pump for this type of supply
  7. for choice and availability
  8. Looks not bad in the thumbnail, then you look at the larger image IIRC (those in the know - correct me if i'm wrong ) they sell a few kits that were made by an ex-forum trader whose products and returns/customer service were of highly questionable fitment/quality
  9. It's obviously jealousy Will they polish out?
  10. True that an led should last longer than a regular bulb but, the point i'm making, is that a lot of the cheaper ones coming off eBay are coming all the way from places like china and IIRC someone (Husky i think) researched a fair bit and found that a lot of them were factory/quality control seconds. Yeah, i'm sure that if they were not working when first fitted a lot of sellers would replace them without a problem - but then you're stuck waiting for replacements which may have the same issue (although transport damages could still happen with UK based suppliers). I'm not sure i'd want to be getting into the sidelights more than absolutely necessary(more than a 30 second job), and/or paying out twice should they not last.
  11. +1 Not to mention the insurance companies keeping an eye open for potential fraudulent claims etc. I don't think anyone is saying not to enjoy the car, but more so - time and place As Stew said the club takes a fairly strict policy when it comes to driving behaviour, especially if there are any known links to the club. There have been MANY discussions on the subject, both positive and negative.
  12. True eBay will be cheaper, but IIRC, a lot of the ones there are lower quality - therefore probably shorter lifespan Would be like having a couple of grand to spend on an exhaust and buying a crapspeed.
  13. Another sad loss to the music industry Some good tunes there Dave http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsO26Pgm6qI
  14. Good effort Dan though do prefer "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives"
  15. to the forum, Jonny. Looks to be a good one, just make sure they've put the right size (and decent quality) tyres if you go for it
  16. +99999999 Try to get some pics that will make it stand out from everything else thats currently advertised
