  1. He usually has some kicking around.
  2. Ok, the films I can watch over and over again, in no particular order:- Platoon, The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, Star Wars (original trilogy only), Blade Runner, Das Boot, and Goodfellas. I will also watch most of Kevin Smith's stuff (Mall Rats, Clerks etc.), and enjoy some of the "homie" stuff - New Jack City, CB4, and Don't be a Menace.... I realise that a few of you have already said that Blade Runner was not a favourite, but, I think the cinematography (for the time) was just about beyond anything else that came out at that time.
  3. Love these guys - and the tree trunks Sal plays with
  4. Here you go stu, just one of a few previous threads relating to doing the highlands (you could also check out some "post Hoon" ones) but Colin and Stew have both mentioned a few stations that sell super in this one. http://www.350z-uk.c...ner#entry885998 As for octane booster, it certainly wouldn't do any harm having some with you incase you stop somewhere that only sell normal unleaded. You'll also not be disappointed with the food at the Applecross Inn.
  5. Only other suggestion would be to check out fuel stops on your route, not an awful lot of stations sell super.
  6. Can't get your intended route to show on this phone, but the dalwhinnie to spean bridge road always raises a few smiles regardless what car you drive.
  7. Pretty sure the vq and 4x4 system was also on one of the later stagea models (sure that's where Jun got the drivetrain for the 900bhp monster they built.
  8. Couldn't give a monkey's if this is a repost, but http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/jensen/all-models/jensen-segrave-8-3-v10-auto-1974/1252719
  9. Craig, he's just outside perth and anything he doesn't know about zeds ain't worth knowing.
  10. After having a look around to confirm, my understanding is that these tend to disrupt the airflow (as long as they have been well designed). This would reduce drag, but it would also increase lift - great if you're into rallying or drifting, not great otherwise.
  11. Huge plus one from me and Vik. Although, another traffic jam at hermiston today Love Krispy Kreme, but not that much
  12. Good to see you're still alive Neil I'll drop the gangplank at the bottom of the garden
  13. oh YES !!! Yup, the rain we had during the Hoon '09 wasn't rain it was me drooling over Ricky's(Type G). First and only time I've seen that colour in the metal. Still haven't seen a picture that does it justice.
  14. Sorry to hear that. Know how you feel, Vik and I lost one the same way a while back. A while after Jack went, our council imposed a 20 limit throughout our village(already planned) - except for our street. Sounds not bad, but our street has the highest RTA rate in the area. A short time after the new speed limit was brought in, a local wrote off his S-class while drunk driving(daytime) - and also a neighbour's people carrier, a british gas van and causing a fair bit of damage to another neighbours MX-5. Turns out he got off with it(something to do with timing of breathaliser sample) We've also had a school kid hit by a car just after getting off the bus, a parked car hit so hard the air bags activated in both cars(Woman actually said to the officer "I wasn't going that fast" "Well the tyre marks on the road, and the airbags say different" ). Young lads in a chavved up Golf hit an old guy coming out a side street so hard/fast both cars ended up in a garden on the other side of the road Yet, the council say it's a police matter and the police say it's a council issue
  15. Can't really vote (cos i'ts not REALLY there) - Interlagos fire
  16. Pretty sure Vik and I never met him in the flesh, but always came across like a true gent. RIP
