  1. I'll be sending mine in new year as well I think as it's VERY annoying having to use 2 hands to open boot!
  2. there a thread somewhere about a company that will re-gas your original struts with a little more pressure to make your boot work again, was only about £35 a think.
  3. looks very Lets hope Santa has been reading my wish list this year! (assuming of course I'm not on the naughty list again)
  4. is that a nismo kit or envy's kit?
  5. just got to work but had to abandon the Z half way and get a lift in from collegue in his stupid french FWD!
  6. lucky it wasn't you been pulled if you had been on the phone
  7. +1 Halfrauds do a 2.5tonne one pretty cheap as well, or at least they used to
  8. your fairy light display is just lazy - just drapped over the very front of the tree?! Now go back and do it properly!
  9. I've just taken the Z badge off my bootlid, it's smaller than the strut Z but if it's any good to you let me know
  10. so £335.75 for the uprev? What are the typical gains? (did look on your website but it said to call for 350z typical gains and I'm 'working' at the moment)
  11. there were issues with the head gasket going on the earlier Elise as it had the Rover k-series engine, get a cheap s1 elise and stick a civic type r engine in - smashing car then!
  12. I'm trying to test the 'explainability factor'! seeing if people are too terrified in case someone see's them typing the words 'black men' into the computer?
  13. I don't see any point paying £8k for another car that will be used for the same thing as you current car though - there's not much (if anything) an s2K can do that the Z cannot? For cruising around the Z looks better, maybe for the highlan twisties the s2K would be more of a hoot but not enough to justify £8k I wouldn't have thought! I'd go for a s1 exige or elise - great fun in twisties, cheap on petrol etc - only drawback is you look like a tit getting in and out (I crawled out on my hands when visiting the lotus dealer lol)
  14. very, very nearly bought an s2k just before I got myself a 350. I personally love the cars, feel faster than the 350 due to the manic nature of the engine and a lot cheaper to run. I thought they were a loty of fun but I had come from a CTR and so it was a bit too similar a driving experience - barring the RWD of course. The only other things that put me off was that it didn't really look aggressive enough and the interior looked dated. All depends why you want the 2nd car? will it be for hooning around at weekend or track days? If I were to get something as a 2nd car it would be something more along line of elise/exige/atom/vx220turbo etc. something much more track orientated
  15. my first attempt - not sure about it yet though...
  16. seen as the average height of a Japanese person must be lower than that of a UK person I would have though that my import car would have been more set up for the more vertical challenged people such as myself!
  17. mine is an import - that would be why then!
  18. I was on the forum last week and came across a picture of someone's interior and I'm sure that had some kind of seat belt adjuster to push the belt further forward. I'm not the tallest guy in the world (about 5'8") and the gf is about half my size lol the seat belt does rub against my neck which can be very uncomfortable on long drives in just a tshirt so if I could find one of these adjusters it would be a welcome addition! Anyone know anytghing about these or am I just making them up?
  19. I'll take you in my Z, for a small fee of course
  20. UNABASHED

    Wow!

now that does look nice I must admit, the 370 keeps looking better and better!
  21. damn it - I Santa'd that list before pressing 'send' as well, knowing I'd forget somewhere!
  22. I keep seeing threads requesting recommendations for good bodywork repairs / spraying places etc. I am myself looking for somewhere decent within the next few months. I think it would be very useful for everyone on the forum to keep a list of the good (and the bad) places to go - similar to the sticky'd dealership thread?
