I have a drivers side UK mirror , it is red thou , how about £100-00?
-
I have some handles , dont really want to sell them but you can borrow them while you paint yours.

David, if you are only going to lower the car up to around 10/15mm the stock adjust like Alex says should be okay. But why have the camber adjusted twice , you can just adjust the camber, you have to adjust the track as well because they work togetheri.e adjusting one make sthe other angle move. hope this helps Mark

Speak to Chase cams , they make awesome stuff and you can hire it for a day. http://www.chasecam.com/ Tell them I sent you, we use the kit in JB Project Zed , Your see some vids on you tube is you search for Project GTST or Project Zed

leave it as is Chris, I will turn that code off via the Uprev when we tune your car very soon, will save you a few quid. Mark

throttle CEL is limp home.

it will throw a CEL then.

Dave, from the limited amount of info I have on the D1 controller I think they change the feedback speed of the response on the throttle butterfly. I have seen cars with these fitted that dont feel any different to a stock car, but other cars fitted do feel different but when you turn the device onto response they feel nervous and very inconsistent. When we remap the throttle using the UPREV we take out the "elastic throttle cable" in the lower gears , the car do give 100% throttl ein the lower gears but the time from when you floor the pedal to the butterfly giving 100% throttle is very slow to the point that if you change gear quickly it never sees 100% throttle. I feel the cars arent nervous in the wet with the UPREV remap , we can even make the throttle to butterfly ratio 1 to 1 if you can put up with lossing the cruise control ( non cruise cars it doesnt matter ) this makes the car really drivable especially on the track , but can make the car a little agressive in traffic. I have seen the D1 controllers cause CEL lights as well. Mark

Please feel free to wonder over and say hello, This will be the last outing for the ZED this year so your last chance to take a look round and see the car run up the 1/4 mile. If your not to sure what Project ZED is take a look at the website below for all the info you could wish for. Thanks for all the support over the last few years its been a great help. Exhaust Questions..... Yep I need a new one....
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to alilongden's topic in 350Z General
Just cut the rusty part cut off , slide a piece of tubing the correct size over where the joint used to be and weld it on, all sorted then , it is the only part that goes rusty on the 350Z cars. Only takes around an hour or so , so pretty cheap. Mark -
Ian, whats the AFR when crusing on the motorway? 15mpg sounds like you may have a problem somewhere? Mark
-
Anlid, The trouble with a well set up plate diff is they can snatch on tight low speed corners , they require maintenance, they get super hot when used on a track (so much I would advise a diff cooler for extended track work) A Quaife will work best for a road car , they dont snatch like a plate diff , they dont wear out like a plate type diff. And are a reasonable price. Mark

We are still cheaper than any Nissan dealer and we do know the cars, £70-50 inc vat an hour in the workshop and £98-88 inc vat an hour in the dyno. We are still busy with Skylines still get a lot of cars that have been to cheaper workshops to have a job done and then they come to us to be sorted 100%. But beggers cant be chossers you get what you pay for in this world , cheap jobs aren't the best way forward. Whats up with the clutch? pedal sticking down? or going spongy? Mark

How to get the absolute best fuel economy?
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to marzman's topic in 350Z General
Buy a car that can have multi maps , so you need a car with cruise control All JDM cars if they have cruise can have multi maps and all late 05 (296bhp) UK cars can have multi maps if they have cruise control, we can then do you a map for 98 and 95 fuel, the cars if tunedwhen totally stock get better MPG than a stock car , we remap the part throttle part of the maps, to run leaner this makes the car give better mid-range torque and throttle response. Mark -
In my opinon these cams wont work on a N/A car without raising the compression ratio. You need to rev these motors to make any more BHP. The stock valve retaining caps dont like over 7200rpm , the stock rod doesnt like 7500+ rpm. I feel if your going to fit cams , get the motor out, fit rods and pistons raisde the compression ratio to 13+ to 1. rebuild the heads with the correct valve caps. then the motor will give some better top end BHP but you will lose the great midrange the stock motors give with a good tune. Couple of questions, 1, how many runs did they do before they gave you your final figures? 2, how long where the runs? 3, Any AFR readings? These cars do give vastly different figures from car to car , when we dyno these cars we always get 6+ runs before we get an idea on the BHP output. We find the Revup/HR cars the worst for giving very low bhp output figures. Your find just bolting stuff on like air filter can or will not make any difference , the main thing in these cars giving go power output is a remap to suit your fitted mods. This has been covered more than a few times on this forum. Have you check if there is any stored CEL codes in the ECU? Any questions ask away.
-
ALL 350z,s will retune to the air fuel ratio that is in the template in the ECU this is what we tweak when we remap , the JDM is no different to any other 350Z I am afraid. I should know a JDM is my daily driver. I tuned this car, what he hasnt said we have priced to fit decat pipes and a XYZ Y pipe with a race cat , this is the preferred route will tell customers that works and isnt to noisy.
-
We carry the plenum spacers in stock they are £179-77 inc vat , no postage if from us we can fit it before we run your ca ron the dyno. Clutch wont be stressed any more than a stock car We have tuned approx 40+ cars now never had any hassle with any cars after we have tuned them. Mark

Project JDM Whore-HKS S/C Installation *done*
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to Ian's topic in Forced Induction
LOL, really but the HKS only makes half the nosie as well. -
never seen a DE give 250+ lb/ft torque , what was the un corrected wheel bhp figures?
-
Plastic pipe works best as well , anything alloy holds heat so raising the inlet charge temp. Stock 06 box is best.
-
STOCK airboxes will beat any air filter system available. Mark

recon over 4K to reapir properly, definitely jig job , major damage.

Thanks for the compliment , I do use a keyboard but my spelling isn't very good normally only playing with figures on the keyboard so you lot are happy with the output of your Z,s. Motordyne dont make the Gamma anymore....;-( but we are working on a new system for the UK nice and quiet but with a sporty noise. Yes Dyla your car went very well for very basic mods , these Z,s do tend to vary in output depends how they have been run in and driven prior to tuning. I would say to go any quicker just drop the stock cats fit de-cat pipes and a XYZ fitted with race cat and a tweak on the map and you should see an increase in midrange torque and the BHP will carry on climbing to the rev limiter. have fun. Mark
