  1. nope headers are real long connect up to the stock exhaust system.
  2. I hope to try some of the SG long headers very soon ,most prob will be on a engine dyno with both a DE and a Rev Up motor being dynoed, will let you know as soon as I have some info. The SG headers cant be fitted with cats. Mark
  3. Greekman our dyno reads at the hubs not the wheels.
  4. 13.2 to 13.4 AFR change , stock car swings the AFR more than this when it is on closed loop.Thats as we are swinging the inlet cam agressively that causes the bhp blip. Remember this is a full throttle pull you dont normally run full throttle from this low RPM when driving on the road No worries re your idea,s re the AFR,s but I am 100% happy with the AFR. To be honest if you had rods and pistons fitted i would run the car far leaner than I am at the moment stock pistons are made of chocolate , any detonation and your break a ring land simple as that. I think you need to see some of the Utec mapped cars I think you see some big AFR swings. I am in the US at the moment tuning the Project Z VQ motor on Performance Motorsport dyno, try to get a vid and get in posted up
  5. Hi, not really happy for weekends I am afraid, work far to many weekends at the moment. Can we sort a week day if possible. Mark
  6. Why do say it is lean then? Cars pulling no hard boost so no need to be running rich. Torque flatens off due to S/C running out of puff but it has maxxed the airflow meter. But running over 400bhp l feel is enough for a stock motor.
  7. Blueflame.....mmmmm. have you measured the size of the pipework agaisnt a stock car system? Mark
  8. Hi only just seen this question bodyboarder , best to mail me mark@abbeymotorsport.co.uk I get you a fitted price then? Mark
  9. that will do then all Rev UP engined cars have the best airbox fitted
  10. when do you want this to go ahead? It is going to be early June before I have any time, really really busy over the next 4 weeks.
  11. what I mean is the following; on the top and bottom of the oilcooler there are 2 holes per mounting, you need to provide support between these holes, we use a pipe that fit between the holes (top and bottom) and use a piece of 6mm studding to go through both top/bottom mounting holes and bolted tight this is to stop the care being twisted or vibrated. I will take a picture next week if I find time. Mark
  12. oil cooler needs supporting between top and bottom brackets otherwise they crack due to vibration, 6mm studding and 6mm I.D tube works well.
  13. I have heard this rumour before , Abbey are the only UPREV people that can live map a UK ecu , we spent a few hours sorting this problem , very easy to tune a UK car for F/I now. Just had a count up done over 40 cars now with the Uprev software!!!!!!! Mark
  14. Stew, had a think , when we charge £400-00 (£393-00 to be exact) it includes an hour on the dyno to tweak the map to your car. So if the owners is going to pay for dyno time we can trim the price of the reflash back. Get a rough number I will have a work out what we can do. The major cost for you Scottish boys will be the dyno time I feel. What costs have Alex got so far? Mark
  15. reset the ECU , hold the car at approx 3500rpm for 2/3 minutes the carry the test out , like the Skyline cars these Z,s need the CATS warming before a test. Mark
  16. 2006 box drops straight in , easy BHP on a DE car. Mark
  17. If you have a early car DE , fit a 2006 stock airbox far better than any filter kit ,but if you want to fit a filter kit use the IgJen. Mark
  18. HFC,s will give more midrange than stock cated car but still hold the car back top end , de-catting make the car give approx 5bhp more top end over a car fitted with HFC,s.
  19. thats nice, no ones wants a motor to go bang especially the tuner. I am happy that the car is within the safe limits of the stock motor , would prefer to run a little less boost but I have said that to Dave it is something that may happen. awesome motor just a shame about the noise of the Vortech sounds a little to mechnical to me thou.
  20. or just have a Uprev reflash , tune the car for more bhp/torque and sort out the CEL problem without adding any spacers far better idea. Mark
  21. really I live close to his house but I have never seen him, spoke to him a few weeks ago , seems he is having to work for a living at the moment ...poor sod
  22. From what we have seen with these cars you cant just do a generic remap , every car is different , I have a huge list of reflash maps that we have done to cars. Go to see RS tuning, you wont be dissapointed I am sure. Mark
  23. we are based in Oxted in Surrey, RH8 9HJ Mark
  24. I have one as well £90-00 inc post and packaging> Mark ps Lee is useless at getting back to you , he is under the thumb so badly, so you need to chase him to get a reply....
  25. 8.5 frt and rear 9.5 x 19 in ,in black @ the moment but edges are scuffed I can refurb any colour. will get a new price once I am back @ work and then get a price up with/without refurbing. Mark
