GT4 has a Rev-Up motor fitted. Yes you cant fit a Plenum spacer. Mark
-
Dan, how much do they need rolling? Do the returns in the arches need to go flat or do they just need tucking up only a little? Mark
-
Mods , can we clear out all the stuff about how loud my exhaust is please if possible. cheers. Mark
-
We have the tool to do these as well. Mark
-
Chris, yes we can work out a deal for you , but I wouldn't bother with HFC,s thou , fit De-cats and run XYZ with race cats far better flowing we find. These mods are definitley worth 10+ bhp and 1-+ torque throught the rev range throttle response will be greatly improved as well. Mark

Nope we even get good results on totally stock cars.

I see lots of people asking whats does and what doesn't work on these cars. People think that you have to fit parts to get any gain form a Uprev this is wrong , these cars need to i,s dotting and T,s crossing even in stock form , if you cant afford anything other than the reflash just have this done you never be unhappy after a reflash. If you want to fit other parts see below; Abbey idea,s; all dyno proven on our Dynapack ( We have had our Dynapack for 8 years) DE 276bhp cars Best tuning mods; Stock airbox with a panel filter ( or find a REVUP 296bhp air box) again fitted with Panel filter these help a lot with inlet temp heat soak but do give the cars more torque than any Race type filter set up) and are quiet Remove stock cats , best De-cats are the Motordyne Resonated Decats but if you dont want to pay the money then stock Decats work , we try to use Berks as they seem the best quality (have used Japspeed these normally require some work to fit correctly) Y pipe we use Motordyne XYZ normally fitted with a Race cat , we find moving the cat away from the headers helps make the car produce torque/bhp and helps smooth the power out. You can always remove the race cats and fit a decat pipe/silencer to give a few more BHP. But running the race cat keeps the car 100% road legal. Motordyne 5/16 base spacer works as well. We reconmend keeping the stock exhaust system , good for 400bhp we have found nice and quiet for everyday use but with the above mods will bark when you floor the throttle. Revup cars; The same as above + we advise to fit a Motordyne Revup lower collector this together with the above mods gives these car the midrange torque that they are missing as a stock car. HR Motors; again same re the exhaust/cats idea as both DE and Rev up engined cars , these we find are best on stock airboxes people like fitting Nismo/Stillen filters kits for the noise but they dont give as much torque/bhp as the stock airbox set up fitted with panel filters. No plenum spacers on these cars thou ;-( hope this all helps I can do a package deal with regards the above mods if people so

My view on tuning these cars and what we have been selling to people of the last few months is as follows Leave the stock air filter box on the car ( if you have a DE car try to find an Revup filter box) and fit a perfomance panel filter Remove stock cats, the best decats are the Motordyne Resonated De-cats or if you dont think they are worth the money fit stock de-cats. Fit a Motordyne XYZ Y pipe fitted with Race cat to keep the car legal and quiet and keep the stock exhaust system which will sound nicer with the freer flowing race cat And fit a Motordyne plenum spacer. then Uprev reflash. I have tried a lot of other tuning parts that dont work , that is how we come up with the above list that does work very well. I can do a package deal if people want.

Even tuning a totally stock car will give a return , you dont need to spend anymore money other than the reflash and you be happy with the results. Be very careful with what you fit to your car with regards parts i.e exhausts and filters. A lot of items around dont work full stop and can and will lose your BHP or Torque. Mark

Ian, the N2O is set up to give the same power in all the gears , the controller cant work out what gear your in UNLESS you do a standing start in 1st gear, then it will count through the gears. But if you are running along in 6th gear for more than 30secs with the controller on it will reset back to 1st gear. Good system but it cant count gear position I am afraid.

Greekman , disagree with this quote, when you fit a LSD you dont change the Crown Wheel Pinion so therefore the driveline loss will not change. Mark

Anyone know what's happened to R35 LEE?

He is hard work to get hold off, left numerous messages on his phone NEVER get a reply. -
Rev up models never give the figure Nissan quote. 11bhp gain is pretty good gain with the mods you have fitted.
-
You can get a train direct from Victoria to Hurst Green which is 10 mins from Abbey. Tony

Stock exhaust system isn't restrictive , will run 400bhp easily. If you have the stock cats fitted removing the centre exhaust box will make little difference I feel.
-
dont remove a ECU from the car when we reflash on the dyno......but stuck one on yours as the ECU was out of the car.
-
Only ever noticed the said problem on a Rev Up car never noticed this on a DE or HR. Anlid as your car has a Haltech it will work the Throttle via the Haltech and the throttle map is completly different from a Stock ECU. Wouldn,t worry about warranty issues Nissan can't tell if we been in the ECU on these cars it is only the Late cars like the GTR that can tell if the ECU been spoken to. I have had a few customers complain about the Rev Holding problem , I would say it isn't for gear changes to hold the rev,s more for throttle response during gear changes. Mark

It is a known problem with rev up cars we are working on it.

You got any stock of the 265/38 x 18,s? -
thought we fitted , XYZ with race cat and de-cat pipes....... The torque is what is the gain , I have never seen a Rev up give what the bhp that Nissan say.But your car will drive 100% better.
-
Grant, have you got a speedo convertor fitted?
-
pleased you enjoyed your time at Abbey , but I dont know a Steve who workjs for us @ Abbey , did you mean Scott? Have fun and hopefully see you soon, but not to soon. Mark

HR will take around 450/470 flywheel bhp safely. Mr Lizards car made 278 hub bhp and 268 flywheel torque , sure the graphs are around on here some where. 06 Rev up , stock aor box , Motordyne Gamma system and resonated de-cats 97 octane fuel

350z Vortech V3 Super Charger discussion.
Mark@Abbey m/s replied to nurrish's topic in Forced Induction
What? talking about Nurrish,s car , I mapped it a little rich to be safe (detonation) due to the amount of boost pressure he was running. Anlid, safe BHP is around 360/380 bhp flywheel and safe torque around 360lb/ft.
