i still dont know what to do really. i think if i phone and plead my case with them they will just say i definately have to pay and thats about as useful as i imagine them being, if i can even get through that is. bearing in mind they make money from me phoning. the bin it idea sounds tempting but i cant be bothered with the constant stream of hate mail from them. SIGH!!! ok, so: this is the blurb on thier site and here is the campaign blurb from the government so it looks like i have naff all chance of getting out of it tbh. seems i was ANPR'd. my extra long super nap (as awsome as it was ) is far more than the 15 mins the government want me to take, 2 hours would be ample in their eyes. i should have set an alarm, lesson learned then. bye bye 50 quid.

nope, no ticket on the window, just this through the post. the jist of it is that i parked there for 3:49mins (was a cracking nap ) and thats too long, doesnt say by how much, just that its longer than whatever the acceptable time is . They want to steal 50 squid from me if i pay by the 9th otherwise its 80 squid. what can i do about this? im all for holding my hands up if ive done somethign wrong. If i had parked on a double yellow or such like then yeah, i'd suck it up and pay, but i just think this is complete bollocks.

Ok so i was traveling back from liverpool from work, completely knackered and feeling the buzz strip getting ever closer, it was about 5pm so rush hour on the M6 was kicking in properly and i wanted no part in it. So just after going under one of these signs i took its advice and pulled into the services to wait out the rush hour and have a well earned nap. The right thing to do in my opinion... well... aparently not according to the services with this lovely letter. So I was asleep in the car and they still took pictures of it and have fined me for avoiding a crash. So on the one hand i understand there will have been a parking notice, but on the other hand i didnt even get out the car so i didnt see it. I thought i was doing the right thing. Bastards

I got a massive fright one day following a slow convoy of cars on the welsh roads. I'm not one for taking silly risks overtaking into blind bends so i sat patiently waiting. then there was a nice gap so when i saw a 4x4 overtaking up ahead already i went out and went by 3 of the cars, a lorry turned the corner up ahead and although i could have probably made it past the last slow car i thought i'd not take the chance and gently slip back in . The last slow car however decided that i must be going to go by him aswell, and also decided that i was never going to make it. So he hammered his brakes on in an emergency stop while i was pulling in. on gravel!! so there i am now stuck in the path of a lorry as he has stupidly blocked me from rejoining our side of the road in his attempt to "help"? f**k knows. Fortunately; A-the lorry braked B-the bmw behind the slow car had left ample room for me to get in and C- I saw what was happening and out braked the slow car meaning i managed to fit back in by a whisker. Utterly unbelievable, the poor bmw convertible was showered in gravel, it was beautifully polished by the look of things too. Lesson learned was two fold for me; taking my time did pay off and never trust ANYONE, especially mega slow people. some people completely miss judge the overtake your about to complete because they don't realise how big a difference there is between your car and theirs. they assess the situation based on their Clio which you have over 3 times the power of and decide in their wisdom you are taking an unacceptable risk.

i had exactly the same problem, only got worse with time. if you leave it too long it will be unrepairable and on top of that probably take your clutch and fly with it (speaking from experience). You may be able to get your box repaired but if the damage is too far gone it will be a new box the same as i had to have. no idea on the cost of refurb of your box im afraid a box will cost you up to ~2.5k depending on age/condition contact falcon performace http://www.falconperformance.co.uk/inde ... &Itemid=30 if you are anywhere near them as they have dealt with a fair number of 350z boxes now and the service and quality is first class. I travelled up from coventry and they swapped mine out and i am 110% happy, well worth it. in the mean time really take your time with those gears, the worn synchros mean the shafts wont match speeds properly so you have to be patient and wait for them to spin down themselves so they don't crunch.

Before I had remembered just how painful it was I actually wanted it in 1 sitting per tattoo but she wouldn't do it. 3 hours later and I was bloody glad they didn't! The tribal looks a bit crazy at the min because its got a big patch of old faded tattoo in the middle of it thats being recoloured today........if I remember rightly think I went out in the sun and faded it when I first had it done I hate the sun anyway so I might just use it as an excuse to hide in the bar and you still have to ask
