  1. Good year all in all Mark. I saw you at many of these and no matter the quality of the show, the company of everyone always makes the day. Even if you do have to put up with Shire and his number plate!!
  2. So many solutions that will fit your requirements. Most good double DIN units will have Sat Nav, direct iPod control and be compatible with steering wheel controls if you have the right loom. Its all going to be down to budget and which head unit you prefer. Look at Kenwoods, Pioneer etc.
  3. Think they were an option in the roadster, not sure if only a JDM one as well as most I have seen are in JDM roadsters.
  4. As Rich says, these are very rare to come up. I wouldn't even think about selling mine. I think last time I saw some up for sale they were about £850, so definitely cheaper to retrim.
  5. I have japspeed Y pipe and no issues, also have the K2 without any issues. Think I am one of the lucky few. A lot of poeople talk about the XYZ I think and Abbey talk about them a lot some would imagine they are good.
  6. I have just ordered some EBC Ultimax discs and yellow stuff pads (non Brembo) from CS. If the discs are anything compared to those of yours I will be very happy indeed. That is some mileage you got out of them!!
  7. An ECU reset won't lose you the maps that are put on. An UpRev is a remap of your existing ECU, its the software that is used I believe. You can't have a remap that isn't UpRev without using a piggy back ECU.
  8. Get yourself a photobucket account (its free), then copy the IMG code and paste it into your post.
  9. I suppose it does depend on your personality and how you feel about the attention. I love it personally and lap it up so I have the roof down whenever its not raining no matter the temp. I went over to Nurrish's once and it was -2. I put the roof down in the garage as I wouldn't dare use it at that temp if it had been outside!!
  10. That is a great bit of work, will definitely give them a call me thinks!!
  11. true enough, would be good to get some pro shots of a number of cars in one place Indeed. I am nearly ready for a meet as well as just got all the things needed to get the old girl back up and running. Just need fitting and I am ready to rock once more!! I would love a professional shoot. Also be useful to get individual ones as that would be goo dto use when you decide to sell up.
  12. Coul dbe a good plan for a meet when we get one organised John??
  13. You should have the same tyre all round. There is a lot of info on here about mixing tyre brands and why you shouldn't. Its painful but really a must!!
  14. Thats still alot of work for the price, sounds good. Think I only need the drivers bolsters doing.
  15. Thats not a bad price, is that for the whole drivers seat and gear knob??
  16. Martin, I presume if you are planning on camping this can be sorted a lot closer to the time? I have a tent that I have never used so feel I should at least give it a whirl. I should probably do a test run of putting it up in the garden as well so as not to embarrass myself at the camp site!!
  17. They sound pretty good, let us know how you get on as I am thinking of treating my seats to some love. that paint protection film also sounds pretty good.
  18. That has always been a worry of mine since I have owned a convertible. Don't know whether its just blind luck but it has happened all over the car but never on me (touch wood!!). Its even happened on the drivers seat while it was parked with the roof down. It would be very unlucky (opposite to the saying!!) if this did happen I think. Although it would be bloody funny to see!!
  19. Excuses excuses..............Ok I will let you off!!
  20. If you need parts or advice you should or :pmr35lee:
  21. I have owned a couple of convertibles and again never really suffered from any of the problems. Had a couple of sticky roofs after they have been up all winter which is easily resolved with a little lubrication. I have also been caught out many times with the roof down and it starts to tank it down. If you are on the motorway just speed up and you don't get wet!! I personally love convertibles, nothing finer than driving with the roof down and hearing the car and the feeling of infinite space. In the summer I don't even get angry in traffic jams with the roof down, just put the seat back, arms in the air and enjoy the tanning experience!!
  22. In the first video clip that engine sounds rough, not a nice engine note imo!!
  23. No you go careful, thats borderline manual labour!!
