They look a lot better in the flesh. The picture doesn't do the Z emblems any justice. The drivers side weren't fun though, the bloody fluid bottle has some of the worst positioned bolts in the world!!!!

Saw a gun metal grey coupe coming out of ASDA in Sydenham in Leamington Spa and got my first wave. I feel part of the family now!!

Not comparing it to anything and I haven't really put the hammer down since fitting so thats probably why I haven't noticed that much. I do think it sounds different but I think I have got used to it fast or can't remember what it sounded like before. Hopefully will notice more when I fit a plenum and exhaust. Thanks for confirming the fit as well, didn't think it could be any different as its all on the brackest properly. Did you have any issues with the MAF cable in terms of length? I have had to run my direct to the MAF sensor over the top of the intake tube which isn't very nice looking (and it only just reached doing that).

I have recently fitted a K&N typhoon and don't seem to be able to notice much noise difference. Do you think I could have done something wrong while fitting? There is definately an increase in throttle response and there doesn't appear to be any air leaks (no engine management lights either). The only thing I can think of is that my pipe from the scoop doesn't go into the heat shield casing, there is a slight gap which may be resulting in me losing some of the air flow. Do other peoples make a good noise and does your scoop pipe go right into the heat shield? Mine is a 2003 so only the single version for reference. Thanks Grant

That sounds like the better option, especially if you are having other work done. Will only add another ton(ish) on and better to be safe than sorry.

I am ordering mine plain and getting it painted once delivered. I don't fancy it being in transit and possibly getting a nick and plus if I get it sprayed here they can match the colour better in case its faded at all. You can get the clour code off the VIN plate I believe where the chassis number is. Someone else might be able to confirm this though.

I feel your pain as I am in the same boat. Going to just bite the bullet and get the roadster spoiler from spoiler depot. Can't be bothered with sanding and bonding to make the couple fit.

Just been to Nissan to ask if they stock the black front number plate facia as I don't have one on my roadster and find it very hard to keep the number plate stuck to the bumper (plus I am not a fan of it being directly on the body work!!!). They said the part was nearly £80 plus VAT!!!!!!!!! If anyone has changed their front bumper recently and no longer needs theres would be happy to talk price. An alternative is to try and get the really thin number plates that would fit around the bumper better. Cheers Grant

If its a lip spoiler off the coupe then it won't fit the roadster (without some further modification). Slightly different curve at the back means it sits up off the body. Gutting considering how many people on here have rear lip spoilers!!!

Gamertag is Grunster1980. I have every game that has ever been released on the Xbox, getting them at £4 each and generally before release always helps though!!! If anyone does have a flashed Xbox and wants any games happy to help.

Mark, try spoilerdepot for a rear lip spoiler. Around £100 delivered, you can get them sprayed before deliver as well for extra. I am ordering a rear lip spoiler for my roadster from there (not sprayed) and I have had a quote of £100 for spraying and fitting which I think is pretty reasonable.

Just been out and checked mine and its exactly the same. Presume your right so that it doesn't scratch the paintwork.

Amen to that!! Had the mates round for football the other day though and they didn't think the women were that hot, questioning my friends now!!! the mustang looks best just in normal Kitt mode, sure someone will make theres look like it soon enough.

So what do people think of the new Mustang KITT? Thinking it looks pretty good myself. I was very worried when I heard they were bringing it back but so far I think they have done a good enough job, especially considering they had the Hoff in the first episode. I have even have it Sky+'d!!! Wasn't happy that when I looked up some of the Mustangs that the 4.7 V8 only has around 225bhp, seems like a waste of engine when you compare it to the Zeds!!! Still this one does look good and you only wish you could turbo boost!!!

Hmm, maybe I am being really stupid here but I still can't see the light. I have 3 lights inbetween the fuel and temperature which appear to be doors, seat belt and passenger airbag (or passenger seat but looks more like a passenger airbag deactivated), then I have four underneath which are ABS, handbrake, battery and oil. There does seem to be a piece of black tape covering something next to the oil light (similar to the one used to cover the K on the speedo). Just worried that I either don't have one or don't know where it is especially as I am going to be fitting some mods soon.

Has anybody got any further info on this? I am after a lip spoiler for my roadster but I don't think the coupe fits the roadster with some further "encouragement"!!!
