  5. yeah the panal just leavers out wiht a screw driver or better still something plastic thats quite tuff. start near the top and once oyuve got a big enough bt o get your fingers in just pull it !

  8. this might help you sort out what you want done , http://www.scorpion-exhausts.com/Cars/s ... ?model=142 the scorpion exhaust for the Z is the SAME diameter as the oem exhaust so 0 gains there , the aftermarket Y pipes , motordyne XYZ , japspeed , envy etc etc are 3inch and have much bigger more open colection pipes from the cats. i had my y back fitted a few months back wiht bascily just a noise improvement , got Y done this morning and can say its either the extra noise or it is maing a difference not huge but its seems better. if you just want power get a cheapish FULL exhaust Y pipe and all liek the K2/K1+ y etc but unless you do the full thing its not going to be notuiceble then get it mapped . also thew cats if you ever get chance to look at them are feable ! (note if anyone feels im wrong here please dont hold back )

    then for a slight extra cost, if i had to have an ear bleeder, i'd get the buddy club, indeed ,your going deaf either way so might aswell be cheap !

    buddy club comes close in price , im sure ive seen that going for about £650 and since it includes the Y pipe a k1+Y is about £550 outside the Gb so not alot in it.
  13. jason , since its such an epic trek to get to RS or even further to abbey why not get the full uprev pack from uprev direct with theyre email in tunes then once your fully certian youve got all your mods done make the trip for a final sorting . otherwise if you want to add plenum spacers etc later youd need another trip, assiming you done alreayd have HFC , spacer etc etc
  14. love that case ! got a lian li clone with dual loops at th emo but the stuff needs a major upgrade really but as i dont hammer it like i used to ive been spending the cas on the Z . (never thought id be posting case and OC related stuff on a car forum !)

    i had Adam at Z1 quote me one inc tanabe Y and your looking thick end of £1k so nismo money due to postage and rip off tax. funkypower.co.uk also sell them but not the matching Y , y back alone is £800 but i dunno what theyre like to buy from.

  18. darn shame the exchange rate isnt as it used to be of 220 yen now its about 150 ish so 25k ish whihc aint bad if they got the 380 engine !
  19. how much the going for ? tihnk they did sell the 380rs in japan for short limited run but as you would expect they werent cheap or they could be the nismo v3 with strokers. Amuse also did a 380rs super legara kit whihc looked pretty simalar, either way nice Z if you got the dosh.
  20. cool , thats one mod i didnt know i had . not sure what make they are , look liek the ebc turbo groove but only have th drileld dimples and not the little slots in them.
  21. just been looking through various forum posts etc and made me go look at my front rotors .. theyre drilled ! so have i got some uprated ones or are they all like that (never really looked at another Z's rotors before)

  23. dont forget the z has significantly reduced throttle in gears 1-3 , dont ask why so far as i now its never been confirmed why. also you wont feel the speed as much in Z vs your previous cars.
