strange give them another try when i got mine they said they had loads and i cant imagine a huge surge in demand.

aaahh , youve not had them longer either. if they cant match it maybe change the rim colour on all 4 ? could be cheaper than a new volk and youl have somthing unique that can atleast be matched if your unlucky again.

tried pm japspeed on here ? got mine next day just the other week. Y pipe is the bit that connects the 2 cats together and to the mid pipe , most exhausts arent cat back but Y back for the Z , k1/k2 , scoprion etc . the stock Y pipe is a clunky , restrictive and heavy POS . When i got mine off im glad i did as the flex sections were all but gone and its defiantly better sounding now wiht better pick up, probably next to no gains till i get a tune but a cheap mod and well worth getting done if youve got a the rest of the exhaust.

till i restarted the car i was worried baout the opposite and the TC light never comeing back on aka stuck wiht the nanny forever ! im guessing its just a bug !

get a Y pipe and it will be even better ! my fujitsubo was rather quiet and dint have the tuned sound but once i got the Y pipe swapped out fo a japspeed one its mucher nicer .

ok so im sure alot fo you know that to really turn of the electronic nanny on bmws, audis and some other makes you have to press and hold the button for a few seconds. well on the way home today i thought id try it on my Z and see what happens , expecting nothing i was shocked to find that the light came on when i pressed but then after holding the button downf or a few seconds it went out and wouldnt come back on again ! so press and hold TC light comes on to say TC disabled then goes out (TC on ??) and stays out till you restarr the car. anyone else had this happen or know what it means if anything ?

I think its set at minimum 12 by the looks of it. Maybe Im just getting older. no ithnk we did see a couple of worringly young girls wander past when we were by the bridge , tis shocking ! infact im suprised they dont have some sort of rules but iguess its gonna be pretty hard to say sory your not wearing enough !

posh air box it maybe buts where the power is at , seesm ot be that a duct to an 06+ (rev up ) air box wiht a panal filter gives best gains or a totally as in air tight enclosed cone but there arent any of these on the market , that i know of any hows. tbh though you probably wont notice any loss much apart from alittle boggin when you sit in traffic for a while once your on the move air flow should be OK . plenty of people just the run op chargers wiht out issues.

hows the differences in handling compare 18 vs 19 ? as i guess your in the best position to compare the having plenty of track time

yeah looks OK , most cars (i said most not all) can be made to look pretty decnt with alot of effort and some TASTE . or you cna ruin a perfectly good car.

good to hear its being sorted and if you find a realiable body shop near by let me know as i going to need one some time soon for a bumper spray and a spoiler if i ever get myself sorted.

the sillyest thing is that its the clubs that make the show if you just dump some of them outside you just reduce the quality and qantity of cars there , cheese one or 2 clubs each year and it wont be long before just wont go !

yep just need all the right looms and away you go , ive got double din in using the bose amp to run the main speakers and another for a new proper sub . only thing to make sure of is you need 3 sets of preouts (well you can run 2 but if you want to add a real sub youl need a 3rd sub out) and go for high voltage preouts to or youl loose tonnes of volume. other than that its no different to any other HU swap.

re spacer to fit them theres a list on my350z#s audio forum wiht quite a few speakers and how big a spacer is needed , good work so far . now for the hard bits as you said gettin the doors wired up and the all important trimmings that make a great look or somthing rushed so lets hope it continues witht he quality .

from what ive seen on vortech site some bits would fit others would not , belt routing is not the same iirc and pulley size would be wrong too as the 06 doesnt drive the charger so hard due to higher red line . best buy the correct kit less your gettign some sort of super bargin on a used one and even then i bet its alot of extra pain in the botty sorting it.

i gave it a glug soon as i thought it was warm and was not looking liek normal so it may be a touch high for now. running on 5-30 fully synth. do really hate the dipstick , was designed by a dipstick. you pull it after its been wiped and still has oil all over the darn thing ! i recon if someone made a dipstick re locate kit it would sell !

thank god for that ! dont normally give it any revs at all till the guge drops to 30 ish at idle and the water temps up to normal , thinkim going to make catch can my next mod though as im sure its spitting a bit through the system plus they look cool
