  1. To me its seems a bit like the nismo v3. Definitely wouldn't say it was a bad idea.

    Trying Swiswax

Which of the waxes in their range did you use?
  3. Thanks guys it is now fixed. It took a hell of a lot of pulling though. In fact it took a small crow bar prying it from below to move it up. I felt a bit Jeremy clarkson. All I needed next was a hammer.
  4. Thanks guys. tomorrow mornings job before giving the zed a wash! Appreciate the help.
  5. Hey guys wondering if anyone could help with an irritating small problem. My drivers side wiper arm is hitting the bonnet when it goes back to its resting position. It's started to effect the paint but I can't figure out how to adjust this. Can anyone help?
  6. Cheers Cob, I actually got my respray done in parts as I didn't intend on doing quite as much. So when all I had left was the doors and roof I thought ''what the hell'' and just finished it off. It was carried out by RM bodywork in East Kilbride, couldn't recommend them high enough. Even resprayed the rear bumper again as he said he seen a colour difference. I hadn't noticed this in the slightest so showed to me how proud they are in their work.
  7. Great thread pics and nice build!
  8. great colour choice. Mind take plenty of pics to share of the road trip!
  9. My daily commute is around 5 miles per day. I always give the engine a minute or two to warm up and never rev high during these trips. No issues whatsoever.
  10. Mines squeal when cold and damp only for a second on startup then it's fine. I've just learned to live with it.
  11. Each episode hosted in a different country... this could be very interesting. Almost like an extended roadtrip dvd possibly.
  12. Yep the Rays on my zed are finished in shadow chrome. It's a great colour but need to be kept clean to look their best.
  13. Thanks guys. These were taken with my camera on a tripod. I took quite a lot but these are my favourites and show off some of my recent mods.
  14. Yeah that's correct. 18" Ray's finished in shadow chrome. Tein S springs. 14+17mm drop Plus 20+25mm spacers It's what I consider to be the most aesthetic usable setup.
  15. Thanks chaps. Those wheels are the Rays which were options on the 350z. They are finished in shadow chrome. Which is a chrome base coat with a light black finish on top. In different light they can appear different colours but when clean and the sun is out like above, they are at their best!
  16. Here's a couple of the pics now its sitting just a touch lower. Low enough mind you too cause a couple of scraping issues haha. I can't help but think that the rear wiper needs to go. Hmmm....
  17. A quiet Sunday in between watching the football thought i'd take the zed out a quick blast and get some pics.
  18. Yeah I had them replaced just under 2 years ago when I got the car. Official nissan parts as well so I hope they wouldn't be away.
  19. If its anything like old bmw convertibles, the wire for mountain bikes gears in halfords can be used believe it or not lol
  20. I live very close to this and I've never seen it
  21. Hey guys, Just thought I'd see what any of you guys had to say on this issue. I had my tein springs (short drop) fitted a fortnight ago. These combined up with my bilstein b6 shocks I had fitted a few months previous. Now the suspension has settled in and yesterday + today I've noticed an almost compressing noise in the cabin and can be heard when the window is down. It seems to be when im either slowing down, going over bumps or turning right in particular. I'm not sure if the new suspension has had anything to do with this but I thought it'd possibly help diagnose. They were fitted by a rather reputable garage whom I will take a run upto tomorrow see if they have some time to take a look.
  22. I have a steering done by royal steering wheels. Obviously i've never seen the final product from your company, the difference in pics is night and day though. I'd say the steering wheel looks to have been done to a very poor standard. I'd be trying to cancel your order and do it with Jack. However if it turns out well and your happy then that's all that matters.
  23. I'd say possibly get rid of the Popcharger in the mean time as any heat soak will be taking away from the car. I loved the noise of mine but I've went for the Airbox mod and performance panel filter with more power in mind.
  24. Cheers guys I think the weather has to be good this weekend so I'll give her a wash and get out with the camera.
