The biggest heaviest car (rolls) was first to arrive. Absolutely crazy. Most supercars were behind cruisers like a c63 etc. Possibly due to being stopped for speeding mind you. Haha

Yeah it was 9pm before this first car arrived. Most didn't turn up till around half past 9. So the crowd had been waiting for hours. Most were there since 6pm plus one of the football teams in Edinbugh had a match yesterday. A lot of things didn't add up well but still no excuse for some idiots behaviour.

Edinburgh just got shut down. Too many idiots, I include grown men in that, couldn't stand behind barriers. Ended up a security risk as the streets became mobbed and people leaning over the top of all the cars so the police shut everything down. As much as the event was drastically understaffed in terms of security and police, I'm totally let down and embarrassed by my fellow scots at tonight's event. Grown adults ripping apart banners to take as a 'souvenir'. I was there with my girlfriend and we watched kids getting upset by some people's behaviour. I think we'll be lucky to ever see it north of the border again.

As a lot of guys have said so much goes into the polishing/waxing stage using the right ones for your cars colour might be the hard part. However you mentioned about the car mag pics. Don't be fooled by the power of Photoshop.

I haven't really updated here in a while. So since my last update the Zed showed some signs of rust at the arches. I had the car undersealed and all remaining panels on the car have had a respray with all chips, dings and scratches removed so a full respray has been had. Including even the inner fenders were painted to prevent rust appearing for a (fingers crossed) hell of a long time. The Zed has now been fitted with Tein S springs in addition to the bilstein shocks and a fast road alignment from a local tuning company the car is handling superbly. Also a set of MIchelin pilot super sport tyres all round. I love the combo of tein and bilstein it's gives a similar harshness over bumps/holes but higher performance in the bends and smooth as silk on good roads. I will post some pics of the car on tein springs when it has fully settled. The build goes on... Looking like this could be a car I'll keep for a long time.

Thanks for the responses rich and tomb. I'll have a look through your vids after work. The japspeed are winning in my head as I'm not looking for anything particularly loud or that draw unwanted attention. Not bad priced either.

Thanks for that vid tomb. I'm trying to judge but I don't think that's too far off my current noise level. Also it sounded sweet. Very nice! Any other brands that members have experience with?

Were they a particular brand blobbish?

So I'm contemplating getting a set prior to an uprev. Are they exactly what they say on the tin? By that I mean, how different are they in sound (volume/tone) to regular cats or high flow cats. I'm still expecting there to be an increase in volume over regular cats. I just don't want my car droning/waking up the neighbours any more that currently if possible. Also I see many unbranded sets on eBay. Do you have any recommendations for a particular set?
