So an another small interior update. Decided to hydrodip in 'true carbon weave' my centre console and door button surround pieces. My poor prep work on the parts left a couple of blemishes but overall I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. I have also just completed my audio upgrade I'll post pictures of that soon

Thanks for your input fellas. I did hope that this discolouration was down to age/the elements. I'll keep an eye on the area incase anything else shows up.

Im trying to avoid doing this myself, although I'll probably take it to the garage as I happen to have the luck where I always get seized bolts, burst hoses or anything that will make it a problem to put back on without some sort of vacuum leak. Just looking to see if anyone has had any similar experience. The car runs as normal, no drop in power and all bolt holes are clear of any oil residue.

Hey just wondering if someone with a bit more knowledge than me can help with my current issue. As you will see from picture below my plenum has started to discolour, at first I thought this was dampness due to rain or even just dirt. After reading into it some threads I see that this appears to be one of the signs of oil getting into the plenum? Is that right? I've only noticed this changed in the plenum over the last month or so.

Hi guys, I have my car booked in next month to have the vented front fenders fitted and sprayed. The fenders came without any sort of mesh/grill inserts. Have any of you bought some that you'd recommend? I see plenty on eBay but I don't want to purchase some and then the first stone etc hits the mesh n bursts it. I'd rather get a thicker more durable product.

I use a low profile jack I got from Halfords. It's not the quickest going up like some of the trolley jacks etc but it's low enough to get under my zed with side diffusers. I got it a while back in their sale, not had any issues with it.

Is it possible to remove and refit the front air duct without removing the bumper. My original one is damaged and I have a replacement however I can't seem to get an angle to remove/fit the air duct. Is there a technique anyone has managed to do it?

Hey does anyone have a pre facelift ashtray kicking around they'd be willing to sell? I installed an engine start button in mine but looking to have my coin stash back.

Can anyone confirm if there were 2 different sizes of tweeters in the 350z? Ill explain my situation. I am upgrading my sub/amp and speakers with focal parts. I had to wait quite a while on the sub but I've got it now and I'm ready to book the install. The installer had previously took a look at the speakers I've chosen and they've said that the focal tweeters are considerably larger. He seems to think the 350z has two sizes of tweeter housings to fit two different oem sized tweeters. I have a GT model car so mine would have whichever spec comes with the Bose system. I can't find any information on the sizes of the non Bose cars though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have the lower passenger/near boot trim piece for sale? To specify it's the long piece leading up the side of the boot which connects to the rear trim panel which holds the boot light. Also just to add I need all the clips to be intact. My part has the end one snapped which causes an annoying rattle.

I do like the style you have but prefer the bigger straight vents. I'm not overly worried about fitment as I said my bodyshop guy it's pretty good that way. I just don't want the fitment to be horrific. I see though that even a similar set of yours had big issues I guess it is possibly just your luck when getting aftermarket panels. Anyone with anymore information please leave as I'd really like to find these with either good fitment or a reputable seller.

Thank you for saying that because I was on the laptop when I uploaded it to the thread and noticed this also. It shows correctly on my phone though. Was beginning to wonder if I had an issue on my laptop.
