I've also got a very similar issue on my zed .. I've changed the fuel pressure regulator (the one under the plenum) but it's had no effect...

Hahaha .. I actually felt more awake on the return journey ... Probably because I was having to be extra cautious while driving due to being partially blinded ... LoL

If you're going to hack into the Dome light wires be careful as I remember Husky mentioning that they're connected to the BCM.

I currently have the same problem ... I replaced the Non-Return valve about a month ago and they were working perfectly unitl this week! I'm going to try replacing the valve again and drain the fluid as I think there maybe something in the fluid which is causing it to block up ... -
I have a similar issue but mine does sound like it's comming from the inside the car...

Matt, It's really annoying as the noise only started happening around 8-9 months ago ... It doesn't get any quieter with the clutch in, which leads me to believe it's not clutch or Flywheel related ...

Alright guys... I'm still having issues with the ticking/tappety sound coming from the engine and was wondering what would be the best way to have it diagnosed/rectified ... Has anyone else had a similar problem and had any success in resolving it? Thanks!

I removed my indicators when I cleared the rear fog light .. You'll need to drop the rear bumper slightly to get enough access to remove them ... I followed this guide: http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php?title=Rear_Bumper_Removal
