I've got a Kensington one with 3 presets, problem is that all 3 presets never seem to get a good recepition. I need to keep searching for new channels but that's just annoying and am starting to believe that a new head unit is the way to go.

sorry to jump in on the thread but i'm in need of new discs and pads in about 3k miles and could do with an idea of what i'm looking at. The EBC Ultimax discs and DS2500 mentioned by Chris seems a nice combo. How much were these? Dont want to go budget stuff but dont want to be going down the prices of the drilled discs either!

Did anyone ever fit this aux lead from Nissan? Be interesting to see how well it turned out. Been looking at just getting a new Alpine head unit and fitting it myself. can get some good one for not that much!

Not a massive modder myself and prefer the sublte approach but mine would be: 1. Upgrading head unit or anything that enables an ipod to work 2. Change interior lighting to white xenon 3. Change side bulbs to xenon 4. Pop charger 5. Upgraded discs

there's something to love about all super mini's. obvioulsy they're not in the same catergory as a Zed but if you need a cheaper alternative then there's definitely some fun to have in a little punchy hatchback. i like the Abarth, think it's got lots of character.

luckily most people on this forum have already sussed out that you can get parts elsewhere for much cheaper than what the stealers are asking for. I agree that this site works so well partly because the stealers are so expensive. Anything i need i'd look on here before even considering Nissan. I feel sorry for the poor people that just go into Nissan and get them to do everything, it must cost them a fortune!!

i've got myself a cradle and a kensington fm transmitter. Nice idea in that i can listen to my music and it also charges the phone however the reception is always a bit poor and i tend to find that it just gets annoying. Had it set up like this as i also use the GPS and google maps as a sort of sat nav system on my iphone. I had previously in my clio 182 an alpine unit that connected to an ipod on which u could change the songs, artist, playlists etc all directly through the head unit. Only cost a tad over 100notes but the sound quality was just spot on and i couldnt fault it. Such a shame that they didnt fit the BOSE with at least a jack connection!

Low to mid 20's for me usually but did a long motorway run the other day and was getting over 30. Was suprised but very impressed!

That must have been gutting to sell ur Zed. At least it's gone to a good home. Glad you didnt break it up and sell it back as standard. Would have been a shame to have done all that work, got it looking top notch and then undoing it all.

Sounds like ur right in the dog house there, dont think you have much of an arguement not be either really! Xmas eve drinking is just a disaster waiting to happen. Problem is that they're normally such a good laugh that you cant help but to get involved. A couple of years a go i woke up late xmas day with a stinking hangover, hardly spoke to my family all day and just sat on the couch feeling sorry for myself. Worst part was during the xmas dinner where i had to excuse myself to go and be sick, came back and never ate a thing. Mum wasnt very happy after spending all day cooking it!!

I think diplomancy is definately the way to go. when she first mentioned it my knee jerk reaction was ta laugh in her face and say fook off! That didnt go down well! She's 28, I definitely use the insurance thing to not get her insured on the Zed. It'd probably cost an arm and a leg to put her on it any way so that's a perfect excuse. Something like a 1.0l Polo for £200 would be perfect. I might just try and get as much as i can paid off the car in the next 12 months so i can reduce my loan on it. I've got a facelift model tho so the £400plus tax a year is just a killer. However like Sarnie said, i pay for it so tough!! Could always up her keep!!!

Jesus! What animal did they have to kill to make that, it's huge!! Looks a good kit tho. How much did that cost? I noticed a whole in my mitt at the weekend so could do with another one. Reckon with that thing though it might look like i'm molesting my neighbours cat!!
