Gibby, Exactly the same problem as my car (see my post 4 below this one), I have changed the fluid and re-bled the system but it hasn't fixed the problem. I am going to bite the bullet and replace the slave cylinder. Dont worry about it being the clutch they don't tend to fail in this sort of way. BTW my last car had 200bhp and was still on the original clutch at 140K. Mark

Honfleur is worth a try, it is an amazing French fishing port, only about 2 1/2 hours from Calais on the autoroute but there are some pretty good coast roads! We make it a stop off each year on route to Le Mans. Get on google maps and look at Sec Camping. I guarentee it will win you some man points!!!

Hi guys, I believe I have a fairly common problem, after 30 mins driving my clutch pedal sticks at 1/2 way travel up position and then I get a dead zone from full travel to this position. I have changed the clutch fluid to Dot 4 and I have made sure my hydraulic pipe has had the retrofit insulation wrap, so I guess I am at the point where I will need to replace the slave and master cylinders. I did notice when I bled the system it was necessary for me to pull the clutch pedal up by hand after letting the fluid out of the bleed nipple as it stuck to the floor and I thought it was pretty unusual at the time! Anyway to the point, where is the best place to buy the parts (i am based in the East Midlands) also are there any good local specialists as I hate the main dealers with a passion! All the best Mark

It was a 1990 911 (964) targa so a bit older! It was actually fairly similar in performance and sound to the Zed but felt too light on the front wheels and the interior was straight out of a 1980's vw polo.

Hi guys, I'm coming into the Z club as a new boy, just paid for (not got it yet) my 54plate 350z, completely bog standard at the moment but I'm sure there will be some mods to come I didn't set out to buy a z but it was so much better to drive than any of the formentioned i had to have one! even if it has got a cheap feel to the interior.
