No snow or ice (all gone overnight) here on the M6 in North Staffordshire and the A500 and A50 that i have been on this morning are both fine. Infact if it gets any warmer i will be putting my shorts and flip-flops on I dont drive my zed in winter.

I was in a similar situation to you in May with my GT4. But the car had done only 16k when it went for its Nissan service. I told them i did not want them changing with such a low mileage. I still got my Nissan stamp in the service book but will probably have them changed next time. If they wanted doing when the car was in warranty (due to mileage) then obviously they would have been done.

Would you care to mention were you get your rose tinted glass's from or is it the scotts porridge oats you eat up there? Of course the zed is @*!# in the snow, what were you expecting from a near 300 bhp rwd car in the winter? FFS the MK1 73bhp Punto i had for 4 years was faster in the snow than the zed or any other high powered rear wheel drive car for that matter. Hence why my zed stays in the garage at this time of year, they were not designed with snow in mind and especially Scottish roads after all the travel chaos created up there

Dont get me wrong they are a great little runabout i owned one for 4 years but every mot was a nightmare to get through
