  1. Depending where you are, you could have my OEM ones for free if you pick them up. From a 04 GT were replaced with Tein Springs at about 55-60K
  2. I'm not even a footie fan and knew this was inevitable
  3. Patch, after reading through the thread again, if you really have no clue how to do this, then I would personally go to a car audio specialist and tell them to do it. Especially when power cables are involved, since you will have to run a fused 0 gauge to the mono amp for your aftermarket sub. Don't wanna risk a fire
  4. Here's mine With added highlight to where the right hand pipe goes OVER the ARB
  5. Thank you Lady Of the Southern Hemisphere
  6. Or spray plastidip all over the thing for smooth and good looking finish
  7. Found this pic of somebody in the US who upgraded their system and retained the Bose HU It mentions an item called a AudioLink PD-4. Dunno if this is helpful, but if you intend to upgrade the HU to an aftermarket one in the future, then personally I would wait until then and upgrade the whole system, speakers and amps included, start from a clean sheet so to speak
  8. Them being 18"s I dunno if they would look too small with a dish like that on a Zed
  9. As said before, it's an oil pressure gauge (notice PSI on gauge face) and yes it does tend to move up and down dependant on how fast/slow you drive
  10. No, that won't work since it connects an aftermarket HU with RCA out puts to the OEM wiring harness. And you are looking to retain the OEM HU
  11. ^^ Which is low pass mode Bridged meaning take say "-" from right channel and "+" from left and sending it to one singular speaker creating a mono mode
  12. Then again, it's been a while since I have seen the back of the OEM Bose HU. Does it have RCA outputs? If so, then just run Y-splitters off them and hook it up to the Alpine amp (with bridged mode and low pass on)
  13. Personally I would probably tap into the speaker wires and run the alpine amp in bridged mode (if it has it) with low pass mode enabled (again if it has it)
  14. Loving the Whiteline items, my OEM ones were well past it already, rears were creaking for about a year and when the fronts started too, I knew it was time
  15. And then when you just got yourself an Aston Martin, would you believe it, the car in front is a Lamborghini Aventador
  16. Try not to flinch and jerk the steering when race prepped Porsches, Audis and Beemers come flying past you at twice your speed. Like Ekona said, keep an eye on your mirrors and indicate right when you see fast movers coming from behind.
  17. Thanks people, sadly a non so glam night, currently on a nightshift
  18. It's a toll road, not a race track
  19. I know a friend that has a Kenwood 2-way that is normally used by government. Transmit power is so strong it cuts out people using landline phones, lol
  20. Our group use a mixture of I-COM and Motorola, agree a frequency and then set off
  21. They'll most likely still be using it And the Eibach items are priced well tbh, as you'll find that most upgrades for the Zed are not cheap
  22. I get to hear that live, albeit it just being the regular R8 V10, one of my friends owns one
  23. Or buy the roof vinyl from rtbiscuit and do it yourself ( £30 saving)
  24. You'll still need to cut a hole for the wiring tho, as the 350Z emblem is stuck into the recess. Plus, the OP will need to fill the indicator hole on the other side
  25. Perhaps they need to go back to mechanics 101. Dear oh dear. Only takes a second either looking or listening for the spinning fans or not. Maybe they should be taught the "Stick-Your-Finger-In-The-Fan" test....
