  6. Decided to do something about this So I went and ordered these off eBay http://bit.ly/11JXhOe First I took the sun visor off it's mounting point and disconnected the power cable. Then carefully remove the light diffuser, pay close attention to the two tabs near the bulb as they can snap with too much force, also be careful with the mirror glass as it is not very thick. Then you should see this Replace candescent bulb with LED item Plug the wire in to test you put the LED bulb in the correct way When refitting the light diffuser take care again with the two tabs. I found it easier to work it in from one side to the other. And all back together Hope this helps anybody who is looking to do this
  7. Stephen Chow Movies, and I don't just mean Kung Fu Hustle, but his earlier work, like God Of Cookery, which is basically a parody of the Chow Yun Fat movie God Of Gamblers
  8. You'll need to remove the centre console plastics from top to bottom. Fairly straight forward, just remember to unplug the wire going to the triple gauges Open top cubby, remove the rubber mat at the front, revealing screws, remove screws, lift plate, remove more screws. Then pull and lift the bottom lip of the gear lever surround, be careful, but firm, it's only held in by clips. Once gear lever surround is off, you will be able to see the screws holding the bottom part of the centre console plastic. It also helps if you unscrew the white AC control box, just don't forget to plug the white flatband cable back in on reassembly.
  9. Who knows, they may patch up the cracks and then spray it in the colour of their Zed....
  10. cs2000 mentioned to my brother the other day how my Zed seemed to pull away faster than his Zed on the Pistonhead run last month. We both have 04 GTs, I have UpRev, cs2000 has not

  17. Found this diagram over at our american cousins and it seems that the amp signal wire is (G/Y), which I assume to be Green/Yellow? Failing that, you could always tap into ACC power
  18. Ah, ok then Well, if it was myself, then yeah, the link to that speaker wire to RCA box thing looks like a good start. Since you are hooking up to a mono amp, then I would tap a positive from the right channel and a negative from the left channel, or vice versa to retain a mono quality to the sound was some songs do like a sweep from channel to channel and you don't want to loose the constant bass like it would happen if you only tapped into one speaker only. as for the remote amp switch wire, I do think the Bose Amp also uses a blue/white wire for this, but i'd have to double check and then you could tap into that for the signal. Looking at it now, it seems pretty straight forward.
