  1. Out of the pics I've seen of your zed, that is ranking as one of my favourites. The profile angle. The position of the sun. The balance between the shadows and the brightest reflections. AND this was taken as a rolling shot!
  2. This is my 13th service/MOT here. Spotted a black 05 360z with anniversary wheels.
  3. Washed ready for MOT and service tomorrow
  4. Welcome to the OC You must be turning alot of heads in that chariot

Wow.....how's that for help. Next he'll be selling unicorns and hen's teeth If anyone deserves the caped crusader avatar it's ZMANALEX
  6. I don't know what some people get up to in their seats. Be it cloth or leather

    Bodykit name

That would be the Nismo N1 Aero Kit that was a factory fit option from the main dealer. Original is a fibreglass whole bumper, skirts, rear spats and spoiler. There were replicas by Shine Autos in the States years ago Not sure about where to source them now
  8. I remember when the 350z was relatively new, alot of people commented on how poor the leather quality was calling it Pleather etc. However, after 16 years daily use and nearly 70k miles, I don't think it's doing bad at all. The actual seat doesn't show any signs of sagging. The bolsters still feel firm and solid. No signs of splitting around any of the gaitors. Apart from a little paint touch up along the bolster bead edge in 2018, all I've done is regularly wipe with Dr Leather Wipes.
  9. Very well sorted zed you have now. Can't believe you've not posted this thread earlier.
  10. With an engine bay that tidy I'd be inclined to check my oil level daily just to admire it
  11. Welcome to the OC You do know that pics of your new zed when it arrives are MANDATORY especially when it's a Nismo
  12. Welcome to the OC Fellow 05 DE owner here. This place is great for solving those little minor gremlins that zeds sometimes get. For example, the Tropicana orange bottles from McDonald's are Kryptonite to our airbag systems. I've lost count of how many times I do a drive through run, out the Tropicana on the passenger seat, brake, it rolls into the footwell then darts under the seat. That's when the fun starts. All it has to do is touch the bleedin wires under the seat and hey presto......airbag systems disabled and light flashing. If it wasn't for the forum I'd have parted with time and money for the dealers to do what literally takes 40 seconds. g5UQIF3Euu0 Many more 5 min fixes that the forum has three up for me. Definitely THE BEST owners club around. I can't go a day without checking in to see what people are upto or a bit of banter
  13. Was only watching alot of Gtr stuff yesterday on YouTube. Is that similar to what was being mentioned as a design flaw on some of the R35s where the pin would rattle like below https://youtu.be/e6Cfw0d05SU
  14. That's one happy Gtr owner who agrees with you
  15. Bayside Blue on the 50th anniversary for me https://youtu.be/UvCRoE6t8F8 But seeing as only 50 made worldwide, highly unlikely I'd find one In which case I'll take orange https://youtu.be/JixPBj4NL4Q
  16. A daytime pic from me for once. After it's Sunday bath.
  17. The man from Del Monte has given it the all clear so don't worry
  18. Wow.....I feel like I'm in my teens again. With a bootleg Sony Walkman from the market wearing headphones with bright orange sponges
  19. Welcome to the OC Just been looking at the pics on the Ace Cafe meet thread. Your interior is to die for. The seats The colours The tablet install. The boot install. Must sound epic when you fire up your tunes
  20. That's the money shot right there
  21. With so much rust prevention I assume that you're treating the zed as a "keeper"?
  22. Welcome to the OC. Looks like you're lucky to buy off a long term owner......IN THE FAMILY. Can't ask more than that. Always that element of fear not knowing how the car was treated before you owned it. Congratulations. And what a weekend to enjoy your new car
  23. I envy your DIY skills. I had a new single DIN unit nearly 10 years ago. Never got round to going back when I noticed the top of the trim behind the triple gauges hadn't been popped in properly. Is it a case of just forcing it to click back in?
