  1. Stevie has spoken- Nando’s it is! I’ll arrange it for later this month Also I’ll start a whatsapp group for meets so anyone interested can PM me their number and we can get word out quicker
  2. Not been on them yet Gary but I’ll be there at the end of the month so I’ll report back then I did pop in a while back to have a nosy and it looks pretty good. Not what you see on tv with 20 ft jumps but still looks a good laugh www.hyper-trax.com
  3. Hi folks As some of you know I have joined the REO team for Scotland. I sold my zed over 5 years ago but with my G35 coming on the road this month I am looking forward to bringing the Scottish community together After speaking to Brian he was saying that the past couple of years Scottish turn out was low. When I had my zed the Scottish community was one of the most active in the country. Hopefully we can bring the spark back in Scotland Some other members who had zeds back then are also returning to the fold so hopefully things will change this year We had a variety of meets, local static meets, runs, show stands, and some may remember the run to Aberdeen to meet the northern members I’m hoping to have more of the same- meets monthly or at least every 2 months, regular stands at knockhill, crail, driftland, other Scottish shows Looking for input from everyone for ideas for meets, and to see who’s interested in coming regularly. Going for a meal, go karting etc. There’s a new electric dirt bike venue in East Kilbride opened called Hyper Trax which I’ll be going to at the end of the month so if it’s any good I’ll happily organise that Whos on board?
  4. I have heard of retrofitting aftermarket heating kits into seats. Could try that and wire it into existing switches for an oem look? They might sit lower and take longer to heat than oem but could be an option Found this with a quick google: http://www.automotive-control.co.uk/heated-seats-upgrade/
  5. Can definitely relate to that. I went from the 350Z to R33, both modifies with my plate, to a black 325ci, didn’t put the plate on it as I didn’t plan to keep it long It was nice just blending in for a change ......Didn’t last long though
  6. Doesn’t matter what the car is for- looks come first
  7. Sold that over 5 years ago mate. Got this to replace it, pics in page 3
  8. Now this is what this thread was made for!
  9. For me it would need to be a C63 saloon- road presence, performance, noise, 4 doors, luxury, build quality Going to the tip isn’t an issue for me
  10. Looks like Ayrton Senna’s take on the bat mobile
  11. Have to agree with marzman- it was a thread about a specific sports car not a thread about a generic ev and not about ev’s in general, just about that car. Other threads went in depth into the ins and outs of producing/running an ev
  12. Ouch... Seeing things like this make me wanna run around in a shed
  13. First things first- that 350 pick up looks gash. No vote from me on that Secondly- when it comes to cars you follow your heart not your head. The 370 May be more subtle that your 50 but it’s a work of art. 1700 miles or 17000 miles, just a number. If you really enjoy the miles then keep it as your fun car If you have your heart set on something else, or if you’ve lost interest in it that’s different- in that case sell up, but sounds like it still tickles you. For me it would be huracan green respray Whats your daily driver?
  14. Not made up unfortunately, saw an article in the paper years ago with that plate on a red merc Ive seen 2 range rovers up here, one with AR51OLE and the other with F4NNE. True story
  15. Jay- your welcome zeds- see that’s classy, dateless always is
  16. For me a plate should be clever or creative. Random words to relate to the car or put a smile on someone’s face is all good but for the vast majority it would be their name, what’s more personal than having your name on your car? Car related plates are cool but unless your a fanatic of a particular car it will stay on the car when you sell I’ve never been a huge fan of just initials as they’re a bit too easy especially in prefix format, but appreciate for a little spend can look better than a standard plate Having said that I’m really liking dateless plates just now. Plenty to be had in the current dvla auction http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/auction/online.html
  17. Saw this one a while back
  18. Nice Not quote as exotic as others suggested but still a cool little car
  19. I love how we spend so much modifying cars but don’t want to lose 20 odd quid on tax to drive it for a week
  20. What was your comment? Was it better than the plate?
  21. Maamyt.... maarmyt.....marmite? Doesnt work for me but depending on the accent maybe it could? Lol
  22. I use www.contracthireandleasing.com. Saved a fair whack on the RC with Lexus Stockport doing a cheaper deal
