Very nice, I went to old town in Florida for their car show, not a big fan of the american cars but I fell in love with the lincoln Zephyr
there were some lush custom ones.

Welcome mate, another scot here
You won't regret switching to a zed, take your time chosing there are plenty out there for good prices at the moment.

lol...funny enough i lost one too when i was fitting mine, I kept saying to myself "don't drop it don't drop it", but it ended up on the road somewhere never to return.
still not managed to source a replacement yet.

Hey, im leaving my car in the garage whilst offshore hooked up to a trickle charger, as its been known for me to come home to a flat battery (not on the zed yet thankfully).
Anyway the problem is I cant get the bonnet shut with the charger on as the positive side sits proud and there is no way i can see to make it sit flat without unhooking it. I need the bonnet shut to lock the car and I dont fancy forcing the "bonnet shut switch" to bypass the alarm....
Anybody use trickle chargers regularly?
cheers
Ross
Lol, never mind i'm only saying it as i have to go offshore tomorrow for 2 weeks, 1 of which will be nightshift, and the only time the sun will come out will be when i'm wearing a boiler suit

have heard a few times that that green stuff is c*ap and is a nightmare to work with, never used it myself but not heard good things. If I were you I would save up a bit more and buy from one of the forum traders. At least that way you will be getting good stuff as well as a bit of money off.

Ahh its nice and warm here out in the garden with a cold drink listening to some tunes...might even cut the grass or wash the car.....hope you're all having a nice time at work.

Not good mate, looks like some bugger was trying to pull a fast one! can't see any reason the EML should be covered, its a fairly important wee light.
Did it have an induction kit/plenum spacer installed when u bought it? some folks have issues with these causing the EML to be kicked up the whole time? just a thought.
