Hey yeah it was actually, the one next to medievel times, you stayed there? (sorry about the late reply just moved into our new house and haven't got the internet up and running yet). R

  3. Mine is lowered on Eibach's never had a problem with clearance yet, saying that they are pretty new so probably not bed in yet. R
  4. Hey, just back from my Hols in the states today, had a cracking time, must have eaten close to my own body weight in steak though. I can't belive the amount of zeds they have across there, must have seen at least 5-6 a day. Also saw a line up of around 10 brand new 370z's at the Nissan dealership in near enough every colour, unfortunatly I didn't have my camera with me at the time. No zed's for me this trip though, this was my daily driver, a Ford Exibition XLT, absolute beast 5.4 V8, but being an auto it seemed to put out the same power as the other halfs 1.6 polo. R
  5. .......off to Florida for 2 weeks in about an hour, hope you all have fun at work Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :bye: R
  6. give this a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide birth. There are plenty good deals on Zeds at the moment, lots of good 04-05 plates with low milages around £10-12k and plenty dirt cheap JDM's...don't settle for a CatC because its cheap, the cash you spend on work and problems will totally offset any saving at the moment. R
  7. Oh...it needs a stubby Welcome though, it's always interesting to meet folk with "different" motors. R
  8. Holy cr*p wouldn't fancy driving that like the zed R
  9. I got mine a few weeks ago from nissan for £4.30 R
  10. Hmm, snowboarding, car detailing, computer/xbox geek, gym, spending cash and eating. R
  11. As Rob said if you have the ICT cable you will have to get yourself an RCA line voltage booster. I just put one in last week and its made it a hell of alot louder. T/J Question for Rob: After installing an aftermarket headunit do you need to earth the bose amp as I am getting clicking through my speakers when I press the brake pedal. Also getting more alternator whine now. Cheers R
  12. If it were me though I would be taking the car back to the paint, claybarring and polishing/waxing from scratch. God only knows which wax the previous owner has used and how long its been on there. At least that way you know exactly what has been done and how much protection is on there. R
  13. Also your steering wheel also appears to be on the wrong side?! sorry thats no help. Is there no way of changing it from degF to C apart from getting a new gauge? R
  14. A cotton bud and some peanut oil, then use something like "dodo juice lime prime" to strip the wax off the bodywork. R
  15. Emm not yet, I have to order some new clips and i'll do it after I move house. Infact since i'll be in Ellon now you can come give me a hand R
  16. lol yeah its upside down Cool looks good, any tips or tricks you want to add into the guide?? Yeah, I only put the over to 180 deg this time and only gave it 1 - 1 /12 minutes at a time, taking it out to check its not getting too hot and melting. Also if you put it on a baking tray place it on a wet piece of cardboard or towel so that it does not touch any hot metal. R
  17. That would be crap in the fog, wouldn't work at all! R
  18. YAY!!!! 2nd go, managed to do it without turning my lights into a big melty lump this time. R
  19. Mr Wallis is speaking poo....mine work perfectly. R Well yeah, I know that, because of your thread. I have to ask questions so that I can assess if they have kept up with current technology, especially since they are an authorized Pioneer dealer. They had two answers to choose from....they chose the wrong one. srobrien, can you clarify to me that the only difference between the 700BT and the 900BT is that the 900BT plays DVD's, and the 700BT doesn't, other than that they seem identical....right? Ah I read your post in the wrong context, i see you darterdly plan now. As for the 700BT, from the pioneer website the only difference from the 900BT is DVD capability, AV out facility, plus the 700BT only has 1 pre-out RCA (subwoofer) whereas the 900BT has 3 (Front , Back and S/W)....I can't quite see how the 700BT would work properly without the preamp RCA connections. R

  21. Just shows that goofing off at work sometimes pays off R
  22. I have had my Acer Aspire 5630 for about 2 1/2 years and its never missed a beat. R
  23. nope. i just use them when they re needed, its a choice, where as BMW's are only fitted with indicators as an optional extra. Yeah and most of the drivers tend to choose the bluetooth extra instead..lol ex BMW driver
  24. hmmmmm some cheeky mod has been at the edit button meesthinks.....stew im looking in your direction. R
  25. The silvertec ones are more than sufficient IMO, and as you said they are only indicators (your not an ex BMW driver by any chance are you rtbiscuit). R
