Dont get quickfit pads, you will regret it. The zed is a heavy performance car and needs performance brakes otherwise you might find yourself going through the car in front. R

There is voltage discrepancies with the bose amps meaning some headunits cannot put full power to the amp. You need to get yourself a line gain amplifier, I have just got one for my pioneer but not got round to fitting it yet. Well FINALLY got my car back from the body shop after having my bumper replaced. I must say I had my doubts about the bodyshop the insurance company chose but they have made a fantastic job of the repair. Anyway, I had a few goodies waiting to get fitted which I have done over the past few days. - Eibach spacers - Silver indicator bulbs front/rear (looks SOOO much better than the standard "fried eggs") - LED sidelight (can't really see them well in the daylight) Gave her a decent detail today too, which included washing and sealing the wheels whilst they were off. Took some iphone pics, the old primer grey doesn't scrub up too badly eh? Also managed to squeeze good old pittodrie stadium in the back too for Stew's benifit. R

No Idea mate, im getting my brother in law round to fiddle with the settings when its all done, he dabbles in sound engineering for local bands so has got a much better idea than me about these things. R

Someone else had a similar problem, a fuse labelled "Cigarette lighter" was blown and was causing the problem, I would check every fuse in every fuse box to start. If they are all ok then it could be the aircon control unit as it has an impact on some of the gauges when faulty/unplugged. R

Oh yeah bass is fine, sometimes i put it up so loud my GF actually feels sick I got the booster from here http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_prod ... tno=PC9460 Cannot confirm if it works yet as I've not installed it. Will let you know how I get on. R

Sounds like they havent connected the cables correctly or they have come adrift. Yeah the pioneer is a good bit quiter than the BOSE, I am fitting a line booster next week, cost me £20, I will be following up this guide with an update for doing it....(if it works) Have you set up the head unit correctly? I have mine set to the S.BASS present and it re-aligns my spine every time I turn it on. R
