  1. I only leave it 10-15 mins per panel thats sufficient any longer and its a nightmare to remove. If you are applying another coat I would leave it at least 24hrs for the bottom coat to cure. R
  2. Sorry to hear that bud must suck to see all that hard work and time down the pan. Hopefully you will be back on the road soon though. R
  3. The dealer in Aberdeen was terrible too, I initially went to look at one with view for a test drive. Im only 25 (look younger though) and was dressed in jeans and t-shirt, the dealer looked at me up and down and said "we don't have any here just now......but you won't get one for under 18k!" ....I just said back, "it's all right I can part exchange my BMW".. What a knob, just becuase I'm young he instantly assumed I couldn't afford it. Needless to say I didn't buy from them, and they won't be getting my business for servicing. R
  4. Its the sides of the seats that hold you in. Think scuffs there are quite common as you tend to scrape them getting in and out as its quite low down. (well i do anyway) R
  5. If i recall it should just be a case of removing the trim around the gear knob, undoing the screws either side of the armrest (at the bottom next to seat belt latch), and some in the cubby. Should be 4-5 screws in total then pull the cover up. You probably wont be able to take it totally off easily but will give you enough room to work under it. R
  6. Yeah Digsy is an ambulance chaser R
  7. Is the Aircon Control Unit still plugged in correctly?, i know this can cause some funny issues with the dashboard systems if left unplugged. R
  8. I think they put them in there from the factory, when i got my car it was virtually like new. In the glovebox was the unopened tow eye kit and locking nut along with the plastic cover. It must just get put in there as standard regardless if you have the nismo upgrade. R
  9. Does your big knob impress the ladies Well done though, first time i've ever seen anyone fabricate a gearknob. R
  10. Whats that? the Police? Making inefficient use of time and taxpayers money?....never heard the likes before. R
  11. thats the cover for your tow eye hole on the front bumper....mine was inside too.....weird R
  12. You can't go wrong with the Alpines..im sure there are a few guys on here with that HU. R
  13. Its just lips so fitting should be a piece of cake. It looks pretty nice actually, good price, just wander about quality of parts and fitment. R
  14. If you get all the right info then new headunits are a doddle to fit in the zed. R
  15. Or as Clarkson would call it, "the colour of a vets forearm"...... I like it though R
  16. I've driven my dads uk300 a few times, and to be honest you can't really compare the two. For pure rip your eyes out acceleration you can't beat the scooby, but the zed just seems to offer the best all round package, its fast, handles well, sounds awsome and looks amazing...people who run scoobies tend to be die hard fans through and through but my dad always says he can't help but be envious of my zed when its parked along side his in the drive. I guess raw power isn't everything. R
  17. wow mate, some seriously nice pics there....especially like the yellow one next to the tent, very arty. Glad you had a good time, serious amount of burgers too R
  18. That is a surprisingly good quote from a stealers, just make sure they do it right though as you said its a bugger to colour match. R
  19. Depending on how deep the scratches are they may polish out. R
  20. Yes..thats right we are very special................................................................................hey!? R
  21. lol...i know im just being picky as we are not classed as highlands or central scotland R
  22. The "Fairy" or any car safe all purpose cleaner will help degrease the paintwork and disolve any last stage products such as waxes and sealents. The clay bar is used to remove surface contaminants such as tree sap or tar, it will also lift wax but you really need to clean it down and degrease it first so that the claybar works more effectively. R
  23. Excellent....but I can't believe you don't have an Aberdeen section...we make up around 95% of the forum R
