  1. IMO trackers are a waste of time, thieves usually assume that sportscars have trackers so usually rip the interior to bits to find them, and even if it had been stolen and retrieved I don't think I would want it back after some ned got his grotty yellow fingers over my steering wheel and graced my newly treated leather seats with his pissy nylon tracksuit....i would rather it was burnt in a field! Just park it out front, spend £590 on a nice zorst and a tenner on a baseball bat!!!!!!!! R

    Turriff tyres

I know alot of the NE scottish guys know about turriff tyres already but I have just gotten back from there after having 4 new Falken 452's put on and cannot recommend them enough. Called in yesterday, they didn't have my size in stock but the overnighted them to the garage and was told to come by any time after 1pm. Went in at 1:30pm and came out at 2pm with 4 new tyres fitted and balanced for a very reasonable £467. R
  3. I'm getting new tyres fitted today, 2 x 245/45/R18 - falken 452 2 x 225/45/R18 - falken 452 Cost is at £467 including fitting and balancing, i thought this was expensive but it turns out it's quite reasonable The mark-up on tyres just now is incredible! R
  4. I stayed in a place called Bitez, just a few miles from Bodrum, the hotel (Hotel Ambrosia 4*) was lovely and very reasonable. The weather was also scorching, 40deg +!! The only thing that put me off was the people in the restaurants were quite pushy to try and get you in, although i now hear its illegal for them to hastle you and if they get caught can loose their licences. I would definatly go back again for a cheap break, but not for a few years after i've experienced other places. Heres a few snaps of the hotel/area. R
  5. Holy crap! so sorry to hear that mate, I can't say i'm the biggest fan of horses on roads but I always slow down for them and give them plenty of space same as I would for a child or a cyclist. Those guys obviously showed no regards for OUR road rules and culture and should be taken off the roads immediatly, or better still get the farmer to give them the same treatment as the poor horse got. R
  6. I have the eibach ones from CS and they are excellent, along with lowering its a very effective way of giving your car a more aggressive stance. R

  10. I take it you mean the front and rear indicators rather than the repeaters. You need T20 fitment bulbs, philips and silvertech do good ones. As for changing them, some say its possible to squeeze your hands in to change them but I recon they are all performing some sort of witchcraft, I had to take the front wheels and arch liners off. The rears are easily changed, there is a guide on here somewhere, R

  17. Went hunting for a Karcher today as my b&q powerwasher didn't have a connection for the foam lances, found one in tesco extra reduced from £160 down to £80, also came with patio cleaner fitting which i have tried and works really well...bargain price. R
  18. I have one on my uk coupe, very handy for bottles of irn-bru R
  19. or I could get myself some 20" alloys... any excuse. R
  20. The booster worked a treat mate, doubles the volume easy, only problem is that it only does 2 channels, either rear or front but it doesn't cause a problem as the rears are more that capable of handling the volume themselves. How did you hook up the steering remote? I initially used those snap block things to splice into the wire but they didn't work so just took the wires out of the connector and twisted them together. R
  21. Hmmmm may have a problem getting her down the drive May have to lay off the pies from now on. R
