Dunno just requoted myself on their website and told them I wasn't paying anymore than the quote. I dunno where you live mate but alot of it is down to postcode, I payed so much more when I lived in the city compared to where I live now, also I have a clean licence. Plus I have been with Bell for 3 years, that may count for something as well.....who knows how these companies work?!?! If they managed to knock £600 off just like that then there must be a LOT of people getting ripped off. R

I would recommend it using a brush its probably years of oil/wax/grease etc so needs a good degrease. r

Have you tried cleaning the wheel with something like fairy liquid and a stiff brush, should strip off any polishes/waxes applied to the wheel. R

I saw a build where someone stuck on an aftermarket steering wheel removed the cruise control buttons and rerouted them to under the steering column...could be an option. R

There you go, like i said im not into blingbling, prefer a cleaner look. R

Its even better when it sprays luminous green screenwash on a white t-shirt! had that the other day. Not impressed. R

I've trimmed it to the same level as the original part so all going well should go back together. Thanks for the comments. R
