  1. I meant i bought the drivers side cluster switch, with auto close on both sides
  2. Just wondering if its possible to get a rubber gasket for the upper plenum to lower plenum. Basically, i have a Kinetix V plenum which i got 2nd hand, and iv spent some time modifying it. However, as it was 2nd hand, it did not have the cork gasket that should come with it. I saw a post on a US site which says the guy ditched the cork gasket and got a rubber one. However, I cant seem to find a rubber one anywhere. I dont want to fit the plenum with just some gasket gunk, as I wouldnt trust that seal. However, if thats the way it has to be, then so be it. If all else fails, i may make my own from a sheet of rubber at work.
  3. Great little cars, my mum bought one a few months months back, and loves it. She previously had a Mini Cooper, and a mk1 SLK. Hope you are enjoying it
  4. Ah, you have acknowledged it now, so ignoring it is going to be harder. Iv had a couple of parking tickets, one of which was actually un just, i just ignored the initial letter, and ignored the follow up letters, as well as any threats. After a couple of months, they give up. Im presuming because they cant be sure you live where the car is registered, so would not waste a bayliff's time sending someone round to a property that may or may not exist, and where you may not live anyway. Anything from the police or council must be paid, anything else, just ignore everything, they will get bored.
  5. I bought an an import electric window switch for auto open and close, and that does not work, though I have not done the window reset procedure on it, i have reset the car by keaving the battery off over night, and that did not do it. However, I remember someone bought the passenger side switch with auto open and close, and that worked fine

I have a 380 pedal, so maybe a standard pedal does not have this.

Well, managed to source where it came from. It sits behind the throttle pedal, and holds it against the bent metal that the pedal mounts to. Glad i worked that out, was starting to get worried.
  8. Got in my car the other day, and found this on the floor by the loud pedal. No part number on it, and iv driven 500miles without it.
  9. I live in Milton Keynes, so 15 minutes from Towcester, 5minutes from the M1
  10. Fair enough, thats a good idea, and if its warm, then that helps. Our dinner last night consisted of a juicy steak from a butchers, some hasslebank or something potato's from Waitrose (not great, as were with some garlic butter) and some broccoli. All washed down with a bottle of wine between us, and 2 Margaritas, so not mega healthy, but we resisted the ben and Jerry's for the night
  11. Where are you Kayla? So far, no joy,i sent an email off at the start of the week, and iv not heard back yet, but im off for 2 weeks after today, so what il do is drop another contact a message today, and see what happens.
  12. Fair play WMR, that sounds like a good idea. Is that your evening meal, or lunch? Also, salads are fine during the summer, but what do you do for winter?
  13. We are having a chicken stir fry for dinner tonight, and i went without my 2nd can of RB and my chocolate raisins. Stopped off at a butchers earlier and picked up 2 nice steaks for dinner tomorrow night, though this will be a treat as the steak alone was £14! You guys have inspired me to work on my fitness as well as my diet. However, i failed massively in Tesco, as they currently have Ben and Jerry's on BOGOF!
  14. There was one guy who build a mini computer to sit in his cubby for all the OBD stuff, cant remember who it was though
  15. Would scrambled egg on brown toast be a good start to the day?
  16. We both also eat very quickly. Lol On a side note, You Tube, How Animals Eat Their Food,it will make you laugh. Im going to try to hit the gym 3x a week for the next 2 weeks while we are on shut down, as well as lay off the RB and chocolate raisins.
  17. My diet is hard to regulate, as i work shifts, 2 weeks of 6-2 and 2 weeks of 2-10.30, with over time on top. I usually start my day with a can of full fat Red Bull when i get up, (regardless of shift or day) as i cant drink coffee, without being violently sick. I tend not to drink any normal tea, occasionally a fruit/herbal one. Breakfast is around 9-10 and normally consists of a bowl of Shreddies. Lunch will change depending on shift. If its and early shift, il eat around 11.30-12, and normally is a chicken wrap with some veg in it. ( freshly made for you), but if im on a late shift, then i usually eat a big meal around 1ish in the canteen, as its my main meal of the day,and its hot. On a late shift for dinner,i usually have another freshly made wrap around 7pm. I also always have a pack of chocolate raisins just after lunch, without fail, unless they have forgot to order them in and have run out! Gggrrr. My early shift dinner usually involves some sort of pasta or potato, and we do like a pasta bake with loads of crispy cheese on top. Hmmmmm. My partner has a stressful job, so is usually not home till 7 at the earliest, and we try to eat as early as possible. Im partial to alot of Vodka and SL tonics, which i know is good, and try to lay off the ales i like so much. I suffer with my gut more than anything else, im not fat anywhere else, just my waist. So any helpful tips. I do have a gym membership, but hardly use it,which i know is BAD.
  18. It does say replica at the top Matt.
  19. On a side note, i wondered if you were on here, as iv seen your car a few times looking a little sorry for itself. Im only in MK.

    brake cooling

You could run a duct to the centre of the calliper, as then it would not only cool the calliper, but also central area of the disc. I suppose you need a certain amount of temperature in the pads and discs to get good bite, so maybe not make the duct too big. Though maybe Alex and/Ewen could advise better

    Slotted Discs

Any idea what that would be on a set of DBA discs?
  23. Had a great day and a abit there this weekend, have not heard back from Silverstone, will contact them again and see if we can get a stand there.

    Slotted Discs

Had a look at the inside of my front discs the other day, and im starting to loose the slots due to wear. Is there a set point when these need to be replaced? Got about 30% pad life left, and would ideally like to just replace the discs and pads at the same time.
