just vouching for experience from members on universal 100 Cpi Motorsport Cats I came across Hoffmann's universal 100 cpi (cells per square inch) Motorsport Cat. I know they are not MOT friendly but is there anything with better flow thats track/motorsport approaved. thanks in advance

My brother had one so I got to drive it loads. One of the best cars I have ever driven full stop, more fun that the Zed tbh and with an absolute screamer of an engine. Sadly never got a chance to track it but I'd buy one myself happily given the chance. Loved it +999999999999

I will have an extra set of standard 18" + worn bridge RE050s in 2 weeks time. the rears are illegal but the fronts have 3-4 mm

I am thinking of getting one this winter and turn it into a track car. I was thinking more along the lines of a CAT D car though as you can have a decent one for 1/3 of that price and still have minor damage. I drove my friends 57 plate few times and felt so close to karting. was really good fun. It seems cheaper to mod compared to the Zed and could loose significant weight also. however, I cant justify buying one to do what the Zed can do better to be honest with you. its less comfortable and running costs are similar to the Zed.

I know he said that but surely who could throw in an extra £100 and get some proper pads. afterall, this a time attack car with insane power. that set up is like going to skiing in the winter olympics in your slippers. what buzzles me even more is that the law makers allow for such powerful cars to be road legal and prohibit them from having the brakes upgraded

this happens to mine if I dont open the top for long periods (couple of time last winter). I dont resolve to pushing instead just close it from that point and open it again. sounds like a greasing job as martin pointed out above

interesting read. project doesn't make good sense to me though. ££££££ spent on reproducing CF 1350 BHP car and use EBC yellow stuff & OEM discs to stop it would be interesting to know how stiff (or otherwise not) this car compared to the stock supra
