the japanese version of this bluebird was my first car. 200 SGL. superb machine some 20 years ago. I know I am getting old if I remember correctly the bluebird was the first japanese car (if not the world) to get 150 BHP from N/A 2 litre engine. someone correct me if I am wrong on that

Dont think he ment scam Maz in that way, its just they were cheap and thought someone was trying to rip him off... Sorry the bumper cracked mate unfortunately mark the bumper was split in half but never mind. I dont quite get the rip off bit as I didnt approach him to sell him the kit for ££££ (4 figures sum) under the title GENUINE NISMO KIT, and I dont think rik did that either I know what your getting at mark but not what he's.

indeed mate. add needs updating though as the bumper was cracked during house moving and is a big no no. the rest is actually of good quality but as been said you get what you pay for. I dont quite understand why this was called a SCAM as every word in that add is true to my knowledge, if I'd said in the add "A NISMO KIT" than that would be a SCAM but I didnt'. people need to choose words wisely before spitting them out

this is such great fun for little outlay. shame the dosh is a bit thin on the grounds these days otherwise I would have kept it quite and snapped it

+1. the zed is one of the few modern sport cars that brings back the 1970's sports car experience. powerful engine at the front moving the wheels behind my back and always tail happy when you ask her to. add to that a precise front end and you have proper sports car. everything else comes as a bonus (personal opinion that is)

just caught up with the thread. I recently moved from Potenzas to Falkens and overall I am disappointed to say the least. the Potenzas were standard 18" while the Falkens are 20". the only advantage the Falkens have over the Potenzas is the lower noise level. apart from that the potensaz rates higher in my experience. the Falkens give the car the tendency to understeer. even with 4 mm thread on them the potenzas will hold the front end much better and the feedback is light years ahead as well. in the wet, the understear is even more pronounced and dangerous to an extent. with the potensaz and wet weather, the overall grip is marginally less but the zed tends to oversteer rather then understeer. I know its a matter of personal preference, but I would rather have an oversteering zed all day long. having said all of that, in a slightly better financial situation, my choice would be Goodyear asymetrics. from a recent expeience in an XKR, switching to asymetrics from Pirelli's mad the fat cat an all new car.

Anyone else with a "long termer half fix" comment at all? Really i'd like to give it a go at greasing to save the bucks but i want to make sure it'll be worth it first. pm cavey. he had them regreased and turned about 2 years ago I think
