following the various suggestions and conversation over the subject, here is the new version of the undertray. few differences: 1.5 mm thickness intermediate grade aluminium used instead of 2 mm. no nuts or bolts used, all TIG welded by a professional workshop. vent in place, partially welded do prevent aluminium distortion. opening to allow for change of oil and filter without the need to take off the undertray. pics as always, feedback and suggestions are welcome. if any one is interested, pm me. It takes few days to get them done.

I really like the sound of the K1 just can't get past those big end cans on show, or the holes where the bungs are fastened. thats one thing I like about the K1. looks like its about to launch the zed

where did you get that 100 db sound barrier info from? I am not aware of any limits on the road. on the other hand, race tracks have sound limits to comply with.

sorry to see that bullet. very strange. sounds like layer of wax though so gentle cleaning will hopefully sort it out. If I were you I would clean it in stages just to make sure its not the lacquer your taking off bud. hope you get it sorted soon

i was always told if your cleaning normally you only need to wax after a wash, but if your using a claybar that you should always polish after clay, but before wax. +1. I have to mention that the tar only came up after I got to the skirt. the paint isn't marred at all. maybe nick can shed some light here
