TDI are also doing a certain "ex" members car soon
they starting the install next week I believe. If thats the same ex-member we are talking about. might be worth give them a shout
So far i have looked on autotrader, pistonheads and ebay, are there any other places to look or not?
maybe exchange and mart. nissan dealers websites.
what year and spec was your car?
will point out similar cars if I come across any
welcome to the forum mate.
the ESP is switchable from the dash. cant see that being a warranty issue as you can switch it on and off as much as you like without anybody knowing apart from the car next to you.
I have the exact same car and to be honest I think your much better of changing the head unit. the standard clarion unit is rubbish to say the least. I've changed to an alpine HU and the sound quality is in a different league.
sorry to hear you had an accident steve. I didn't attend the welsh run and didn't know what happened.
I would have thought its worth negotiating the insurance settlement further if you recon the car is worth more. it will certainly take some time but if you can get 1k or more I think its worth it. specially with the current market you could afford to wait for the right car at the right price.
I dont see any point in buying the car back if you've already taken most of the mods out unless they sell it to you for silly money.
good thing your ok metal can be replaced mate
Na more like southend  or sa'fend
+ 1. that lambo reminds me of a guy with 1992 mondeo, he's got similar flashing lights round the doors and windscreen and the car breaks down daily by the sea front
Ofcourse it is possible that Maz mis timed the flashes when extracting the codes & has ended up with the wrong codes
I doubt it to be honest. I was concentrating on the job in hand I couldnt see the guy till he was a feet away from me and he came in front of the car .
I'll think i'll carry on as dan said and see how it goes.
I took the car for a blast afterwards and everything was fine.
according to nissanforums.com there is something called "ESM/FSM" which is sort of a code trouble shooting document. cant get hold of it but will keep searching.
appreciate the help & advice from everyone
does it retrieve ecu codes mark? I managed to reset the ecu and while i was writing the code down my neighbour knocked on the window and I sort of missed the last digit.
I am pretty sure it one of those three though
1491
1492
1493
any ideas guys?
I am still looking for the code guide on here
