I bought new LED rear lights and just booked a holiday, so I can't this month. very interesting stuff. was the car built by nissan works team or a nissan based team? there are few incarnations around based on the vq, I remember someone trying to sell what he called a vq38 somewhere recently. similar to your case, he didnt have a details of the built except that its been stroked to 3.8 and was raced in the states. I would be surprised if the internal are stock. I seem to remember that the con rods on the vq35de were not the strongest nissan has produced so they were a definite upgrade for compitition engine

try an ECU reset and see what happens. if it brings the power back maybe worth doing everynow and then. would be interested to see if it works

great write up and awesome pics - stardard suspension is ok especially as you hit curbs and the bumpy carousel corrner but i think a stiffer ARB will be brilliant! i was told my some chap who runs anr tune nismo zed that the only thing you want to change in the geometry is the front toe which needs openning by 3degs for better cornering and same for negative camber. very interesting point about the geometry. wonder how would the Zed behave on daily drive with that setup love the ESSEX BOY ONLY PARKING sign
