  1. enjoy the drag race, weather is looking good again, you should get some good times up don't forget to post your times on here when you get back tomorrow
  2. My brother in law has one of these and he's ragged the living crap out of it. He's gone through 3 sets of tyres, blown the diff to smithereens, cooked the steering pump and trashed the gearbox!! In less than 10'000 miles from new. Doing do'nuts for ages at a time doesn't help mind
  3. Too right, but by the time the government pull the fingers out of their tight arses it'll be too late. It'll take them a year to discuss it in parliament
  4. Fair play your car is looking cleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean Reminds me to get my arse in gear and beautify mine with a bit of TLC
  5. I like those lips (on the cars that is) How much are they Chillies?
  6. How much tread is left on them Wayne?
  7. I'd like to be able to get it done, but unfortunately there's issues with them not working, once fitted back to car. So i wouldn't want the responsibility of having to replace it.
  8. Right as from my previous thread i'm offering the chance for fellow Z owners to purchase refurbished plenums. I can get them polished, or powder coated in standard colours for £85 with free delivery!! What i will offer, (and this is based on trust , but i know you lot are a trustworthy bunch except for the odd ) is to send you the finished plenum once i've received payment, and for you to fit it asap. Then return your old plenum straight away so that i can get that done ready for the next person This could be a 2 week turnaround but will try and speed this up if i can get hold of some spare plenums!! There is no risk to you and your car is only off the road for the time it takes to swap over. So if you are definitely interested get your name down. First come first served!!! PS. Polished power steering and expansion bottles for £200 with free delivery *Only 2 sets available*
  9. Just a quick update on the Red anodized bottles. I have managed to find someone a bit cheaper, to get these polished!! So we are looking at £200 for the pair instead of £240. Delivery is free!!! The guy polished one up for me today and it looks flippin gorgeous . Any takers on these polished plenums? if not i'll just get mine done and put it back on the car.
  10. I swear by it, car runs great, and good price with double clubcard points too
  11. You have to use the original MAF unit, as you do with every other induction kit, even the JWT The kit comes with the adapter to plumb in the unit.
  12. The Summit braces are pretty straight forward to fit. As long as you have plenty of clearance to work underneath the car. As for serving a purpose, well, if you track day the car then its well worth it, as the braces stiffen up the chassis. Otherwise there is no real purpose, unless you like driving fast and want a better handling car to go with uprated suspension, or as an extra bit of bling for a show car. As for the plenum spacer, definitely worth while for that extra bit of torque, but i also have the modified lower collector for your '06' car which does the same job as the spacer but keeps the height at stock levels. You can still add a plenum spacer for even more torque!! The new price of a lower collector is over 500 quid with the VAT from Nissan. The modified version is selling for 290 quid at certain stockists, and i'm selling it for 190 + P&P. These are brand new as well, so really good value for money in my opinion. I'd have it on my car if it wasn't for the fact that it's an'04' and not the rev up version.
  13. Try this ICT 29-001 - Alpine Head Unit Adapter Price: £4.49 from sextons. As long as your system is a Bose and they used this wiring>http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/fitting_accessories/steering_wheel_control_adaptor/ict/p~29-674.html?cat=659
  14. There you go, flat and polish is all that was needed. Looks spot on now
  15. I've been in touch with a few breakers yards and waiting for replies on the plenum. One got back to me just now and said they are expecting a 350z in sometime today, but they cant give me a price yet. Phoned up Nissan for the crack to get a price, and they want £486 + vat The lower collectors come in at the same price as well, and i have 2 of them brand new and modified!! If anyone has a spare plenum laying around give me a shout and we'll sort out a deal
  16. Patience dear boy the plenum will be going in Saturday to be polished. I'm hoping it will be ready by the following Saturday. Get your names down if interested. I am on the lookout for another plenum so the turnaround can be quicker, and i can keep my car on the road
  17. I can also get the plenum chamber polished for £85 plus delivery. I'll send you the polished plenum, and you send me back your old plenum once you've swapped them over. Your car wont be off the road doing it this way.
  18. If anyone is interested in the expansion and power steering bottles, i've just got some quotes to get them refinished in chrome and polished!! Chroming is expensive for these because they are made out of aluminium, the cost would be £140 for the pair, so the total price comes to £300. To polish them would cost £40 for the pair, the total for these would then be £200. I'll throw in free delivery for that as well. Or take them as they are now and pay £160 plus delivery. Only 2 sets will be available so first come first served. Cheers
  19. There's Japfest at Castle Coombe, JTS at Silverstone and a show at Wickstead Park off the top of my head. There are shows coming up nearer to you as well. Sure everyone has their own favourites. Loads of track days too
  20. Hi Simon, there was a group buy on here for the struts not so long ago, if you click on the search button you should see details of this. They are quite easy to change, you shouldn't have a problem. You could look for second hand ones but they may be weak as well or you could try this company, they seem to promise very good prices!! Click on the link http://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-stru ... motive.php
  21. Welcome to the forum Simon, good to have you on board
