  1. I'm sure once you've changed the hoses, you can just let the engine run on idle, leave the rad cap off, and top up with coolant. All the air bubbles will escape through the open rad that way. Give the bottom hose a sqeeze a few times as well.
  2. Nothing wrong with ebay, I bought 2 different types of Z key rings from private sellers, both came in presantation boxes, and reasonable prices too.
  3. i'm in sunny Porthcawl so not too far from you either. Any problems give me a shout
  4. +1 iphone is still the best, although a newer version is coming out later in the year.
  5. Nice one Conrad, don't forget the offer is still there for the swap of interiors
  6. Muddy fitted his the other day, give him a pm , i'm sure he'll give you some pointers. Wont you Craig
  7. I could of got them polished for you Ross. Never mind, paint them orange yourself, i'm sure it will look good and rather unique. If you don't like it find a polisher
  8. Quick update, need to get rid of the rest of this gear so some of the prices have come down a little. Not much left now so be quick
  9. Get some orange hoses fitted that will set it off. What are you gonna do with the bottles, polish them or spray them orange?
  10. Wow, great job Ross, standard stut brace looks What shade of orange and where did you get the shiny bolts?? Have you tried getting the cables to fit below the strut? Another member on here has done it and it does tidy up that area!!!
  11. Excellent, does that mean i can have the plenum back now and..........
  12. +1 on the lambo orange with black bits. If you are going to do a full respray then don't beat around the bush, be daring and different. By respraying a car you end up losing money on it so painting it white is pointless. Either paint all the add ons black to match the car and chop it in for a white one or go for a paint job thats gonna stand out, that nobody else has. Or, its your car and you'll do what you like
  13. The car looks great If i was you i'd ditch EBC all together and go for Ferodo DS2500 pads, seriously!! I had reds on my civic type r and they were totally crap, even to the point where i couldn't slow down enough at a roundabout, and if it wasn't for the great handling of the car would of ended up going side ways straight over the roundabout and flippin it in the process. As it was, just had a minor accident in my boxers Went out and bought/fitted OEM brakes the next day and what an improvement that was. Rant over
  14. You can buy my bumper off me for a ton and get the number plate thrown in for free. And the carbon cover.
  15. Pimm, how does changing the front reflectors make the back end 'tidy looking'
  16. Yeah, when i was reading it Lee Evans sprung to mind. So funny and so true
  17. I would of said knock a nought off those prices at least
  18. Thats only half the job though take it off and clean the other side too
  19. If you want 225mm spacers chopshop know a man who can Continental tyres aint cheap, but they have a hard wearing compound, so could work out cheaper in the long run and are amazing in the dry and wet weather. Z badges- there is a member on this forum that sells them on ebay. He lives in Worcester. He can also supply the ali vent trims as well.
  20. You don't need pics :P Just take the TB off and clean it for gods sake
  21. Nope, it runs from when your first car needs insurance and the second runs pro-rata for the remainder of the year. Then the next year they both run together. I had to do this last year. Thats sounds ok. Will definitely be going for a multi car policy this year. I phoned Chris Knott earlier, and they said they don't offer the multi car policy, but will offer a discount on a second car. Had this deal with A-Plan last year, but they stitched me up when i had to renew!! they wanted more money for the citroen shed than the Zed!!! Go figure
  22. You can clean the inside of the throttle body with thinners or petrol. I took my throttle body off and just poured it around the inside edge, the gunk just washed away. Easy job and well worth doing
  23. The scorpion exhaust is very good quality, and might be my next choice of exhaust if my Fujitsubo system ever fails. Don't be put off by the price, Scorpion sell exhausts at realistic prices, not like nissan and a lot of other aftermarket manufacturers that put a ridiculous mark up on their systems, because of the type of car they are fitted too!!!
  24. Thats a great offer from Admiral. I really want to get a multi-car policy but my due dates for each car run in May for the Zed and september for the citroen work horse. Would i have to cancel 1 policy and reinstate it on a new 'multi' policy, or add it on when the insurance is due? Any thoughts?
  25. If its only light kerbing, you could get the 4 done for less than £100 as a repair. Otherwise a full refurb will cost around £300. Or get some stratos paint, primer, laquer, wet & dry and some masking tape and do it yourself for less than £30
