  1. Welcome Zogg, that avatar is a bit on the large side me thinks

Interesting, cos when i took my plenum off, there was no oil there at all. Mine is the 2004 model with 276bhp.
  3. Not sure exactly, but i can assure its not worth that amount. Find another dealer or take it to an independent.
  4. I'll take one but let us know what size they come in. At the end of the day you don't need a great amount of paint. 3 or 4 chips is all that needs doing on most calipers. 50ml would be sufficient imo.
  5. Here's a pic of these lifters on my car
  6. I got round to fitting mine today and i used the socket driver as well! No disasters to speak of, thank heavens . I left the coolant valve off as it isn't needed imo. Must thank srobrien for returning his old plenum to me which i duly took to my polishers workshop, and was kindly allowed the use of their sand blasting machine to bring the plenum back to an as new finish!! How long it will stay like that though is anyone's guess, but it does look good, and doesn't need any elbow grease May get it silver powder coated one day if i get chance.

Yes unfortunately i do not have the fitting kit. The bolts that come with the 5/16ths motordyne spacer would fit with my angled spacer, so you could buy new bolts the same size as them. As for a gasket, if you do need one then it could easily be made up from a large piece of card, there's nothing special about it. The only slightly difficult items to get sorted, would be the 6 plastic spacers that fit on the inside of the plenum around the middle bolts!! but again these can be made up with careful measuring, diy style. I've just measured the actual thickness of this spacer and it is 1/2 inch down to 1/4 inch. The blue spacer i have is not angled and is 3/8ths thick just for your information. All the bolts you need and the other little bits wouldn't come up to more than 20 quid!! and you could get stainless bolts for that matter. If i hadn't already bought my original spacer i wouldn't of hesitated fitting one of these to my car.
  8. I've got those very bonnet lifters fitted to my car and as far as i'm concerned you wont get better for twice that price! So easy to fit and no cutting of any trim whatsoever. The bonnet doesn't lift as high as the teins but that isn't a problem, in fact it looks better
  9. i will have a gander at your forums if i get 5 mins break from this site
  10. Interested but seems a little expensive for a touch up pot. What size pot is it?
  11. If they keep this style of number plates you'll have to wait until sept 2020 when it will go from '20' to '70' and by then we'll be on the 380Z!!
  12. Oh and the other thing is that after the '59' plate there will be a '10' plate in march 2010 and then in september the plate will be '60'. The following march will then be '11' and then '61' and so on.
  13. Trouble is it wont be a 350, it'll be a 370
  14. Looks good can't wait for our next liitle meet up, i'll take you on some proper B roads around the brecon beacons to see how well your car goes

Did you say angled plenum spacer? I did mention that the silver spacer i have is angled didn't i??? Good write up, in the wrong forum index again! I have to say i was a bit sceptical about the Mrev2, but you've proved that it does work, and it'll be interesting to see what amount of horsepower this has gained. Thanks for the compliments too cheers Bennet.
  16. I get the brakes binding as well, but it must be the handbrake shoes sticking to the drum, cos it doesn't do it when i leave it in gear with the handbrake off.
  17. There's potenzas and continentals on them. Not sure at the mo, whats on the front and whats on the rears. I think there may be slight kerbing on 1 of the wheels but again i'll have a good look tomorrow, and maybe take some photos.
  18. By the way what torque wrench did you use after? The smallest 1 i've seen is halfords motorcycle wrench.
  19. Uk cars don't come with the coolant valve???
  20. Obviously, the circumstances could be beyond the traders fault, due to postman Pat getting lost. But a simple apology for the delays, would of gone a long way to calm down customer relations.
  21. Nice rant Bennet, but you put this in the wrong forum index what are you like. It must be due to your blind rage
  22. Have you considered having them refurbished? You could get the kerbing repaired for around 30 quid a wheel, or a full refurb for around 70 quid a wheel. I've got a set of 4 that i may be willing to sell for 200 quid with good tyres, if you are interested. I was hoping to keep them as spares but i need the space unfortunately.
