  1. Remains to be seen what the US will dish out to BP in terms of sanctions. If they are prohibited from bidding for any new US contracts, then that could be a further downward movement as 10% of their global revenue comes from that market.
  2. As you'll know, I dont go in for all this ego stroking, so dont have many pictures of my own car
  3. Hi, You may have noticed that the forums have undergone a bit of reorganisation. The changes hopefully lay things out a little more clearly. The first section now contains all items which new and frequent users should be able to see immediatley: Welcome posts, announcements, traders areas and discounts areas etc along with spotted items and any media that may be interesting and a section on detailing, common to all vehicles. The next two areas are for the 350z and the 370z, with each having its own sections for General, technical, mods and Faqs (with guides within the FAQs for each car). The final section is for all others, off topic chat, other cars, feedback and suggestions and the test forum. Hopefully this will make it a lot easier to navigate with the ever increasing number of 370z owners and posts etc. The meets calendar will also be revised shortly with all new "booking" facility
  4. Stickers can be ordered from Mike (M13kyf), and if you let Martinmac know of your requirements for any T-shirts or fleeces etc (probably not fleece weather in June though!). They may be able to run the order off before the show and I could bring it down with me. We dont carry "stock" of the items (although Martin may have a few items laying around), as its quite expensiveto have them sat round waiting for buyers, but our supplier will do single items for us at no extra cost, so no need to wait for bulk orders to accumulate. The free tickets are one per Z on the stand only, if you are bringing a friend then you will need to arrange a ticket for him/her beforehand or buy the passenger ticket on the gate.
  5. Ill bet it was on one of those sections where it changes from a 50 to a 30 about half a mile before it should do, and they had a camera set up for that very reason as its a nice little earner on a Sunday afternoon. £60 and 3 points?
  6. If I can justify the mileage I may take the other car too
  7. Id like to do this one year too - maybe get a zed over with our forum stickers on too
  8. Unfortunately when you buy cheap ebay replicas Ian, thats the price you have to pay Do original parts offer a higher ground clearnce then? Ill bear that in mind.
  9. At long last, apple drags its "camera" on the phone kicking and screaming into the modern era - it at last has a flash! Thats about the most exciting thing I can see. That and it has a super high res screen. I dont spend that much time looking at my iphone screen to actually care about the higher resolution though. Anything else remotely interesting about the new version?
  10. Right, as posts are being made on other online locations such as facebook, but no answers are being given here, then the team are left with no choice to take action in order to safeguard our members. We would advise that no further orders be placed with this trader at this time. The trader will not be banned from these boards, as there still needs to be a channel of communication left open to resolve the current outstanding issues. A full announcement will be made shortly and the appropriate changes made to the traders section. To the trader: please understand we are having to take this action due to the number of reports of a similar nature made by mmbers of this club, and the lack of answers and resolutions to these. Can I ask that this thread now be reserved for those directly involved with any outstanding issues and the trader in question. Regards, 350Z-uk.com team.
  11. Sorry folks, Prosilver was only there for some bots to be moved over onto as a test to ensure the theme was not the cause of the slowdowns. Prosilver has not been tweaked to have all the features of the forum enabled, and therefor should not be used. its now been removed as an option to avoid any issues
  12. I guess the before picture would just be a standard engine bay, so perhaps Colin can assist with the before picture on that? Unless he too has already been meddling!
  13. Looks great Chris. Did you take a before pic of the air intakes? Would be nice to see before and after pics of all the changes you make, as some are very OEM looking, it may be beneficial for those thinking of modding the 370 but unsure of the effects

    Brilliant Photos!
  15. You certainly do have a contract of sale. Second hand or not they sold you the goods - so under the sale of goods act it is their responsibility to ensure they are fit for purpose, a sports car with a duff gearbox would certainly classify as unfit in my opinion. As you are currently taking it up with the dealer then Nissan Customer Services areprobably blisfully unaware just how annoyed you are about this. Start contacting them on a regular basis and you may find it will concentrate the mind a little on sorting this issue out once and for all
  16. If they are going to "alledgedly" modify a CAT C with a chassis an inch out of line, ad then give it away as a prize pottentially endangering life by putting someone into a possibly unroadworthy vehicle, and then take action against an individual or club for hilighting this fact, then I think this speaks volumes. They would be far wiser spending the money retraining whomever thought using a bent car as a competition prize and then writing about it as if everything were rosy, on not doing it again. Id like to see the paperwork showing that a total of £28,000 was spent on the vehicle, as I am sure would anyone who was given a cash equivalent of the prize, if indeed that was the case - as Ill bet my left testicle they didnt give the values as printed in the magazine....
  17. Unfortunately it seems all you can do is percivere with the dealer. At least they seem to be taking the matter up with Nissan. I think the gearbox itself is covered under the warranty (is this still in effect or has it now expired). I think it may be fair to say that the numerous replacements and repairs being caried out have now exceeded the cost of a new gearbox, and it would be wise for Nissan to authorise the replacement of the whole box. Have you contacted Nissan customer services on the matter? It may be worth advising them that due to the numerous repairs that have only resulted in further problems arising, that you feel unless an entire new gearbox is authorised, you have no choice other than to seek legal advice and take action. (This will probably cost you at least £500+Vat for a letter or two). Your contract of sale is with the dealership, so any action taken would be against them - however there is nothing to stop you copying Nissan in on the letters. After all it is them that is doing the authorising of any warranty parts.
  18. I guess you are in the same boat as I was a few weeks back Martin. Clean forgot about it! They should make it mandatory that you get reminders for the MOT as you do tax and insurance.
  19. Maybe a slightly brighter pink?
  20. Dont worry - I created a special group of "20K Posters" for that. As soon as Mike hits it then he can kiss that Red colour goodbye too
  21. thats exactly the same as the one I just found.... http://www.salamander-pumps.com/informa ... pumps.html
  22. Is there no nismo exhaust for the 370Z ?
  23. I heard it was CAT C, chassis out of line by an inch and the garage who were asked to put it right refused to do so as they couldnt be confident that the car was or would be road legal in its current state. I may have some fo the details wrong, but I think its fair to say that the picture max power paints is very, very, rose tinted.
