  1. You can Dave is an old duffer - check the radio station on the interior pic...
  2. Think you may be mistaking mine for Markys. His is orange and has the coloured centre console and lambo doors Mine is the one with yellow engine cover. There are a few bits that need some TLC on mine like the strut bar ends and the plenum, though Im sure you will get an idea on what you would like to do after looking around the site
  3. I think the fuel consumption doesnt have the range of "fair to poor" that we are used to. I think in the 4.7 or 6 litre of the Astons its more like "poor to dreadful", so the speed doesnt really affect it that much. Its probably bad all the time
  4. Its a weekend/meets car now. It was an every day car for the wife, and is still referred to as "hers". Im in Tibshelf now, so not strictly Chesterfield anymore, used to be in Upper Newbold. I certainly do know of Eckington, drive through it when Im on my way to Crystal peaks, or entering Sheffield from that side. There are quite a few of us in and around the area - have a look out for some meets in our area on the meets section
  5. Dont you dare bring that to Chesterfield! I think there are already three here, but then again I know two of those were sold, and I havent seen them in a while, so perhaps we are back down to just mine around here, so there should be room for two of us The only extras above the GT pack are a numbered plaque, the different wheels and of course its yellow. When new they came with a playstation and a copy of GT4 the game. Ive never known a second hand one still come with those, so dont go looking for it. Over time the wheels have become more common as they were fitted as standard in Eire on some models (looks like they had some of these wheels left over), and the engine become the norm for the Z about 6 months after the GT4 came out. Really you are now only paing for the uniqueness of the yellow imho. Beware, if it needs paintwork, finding someone to match it could prove a pain - but I know a bodyshop in chesterfield that know how to do it now (just in case you were thinking of a bodylit at a later date). Hope that helps
  6. Really feel for you buddy. Each day Im amazed at just how poor the service can be from large corporations. Its not just car manufacturers, but almost every company I am a customer of has managed to be found wanting in the customer care dept. Sadly the accountants and their calculators have been the ones promoted to running these companies and they have no clue about customer care what so ever. They fail to realise that poor customer service wil undo any ammount of calculator tapping. Hopefully you will get everything sorted as quickly as possible and be back to enjoying the car. Look at it this way, its not the cars fault, but the people behind it.
  7. If you've just bought a new Aston, its a nice summer evening and your child has asked you if you can change her piggy bank contents into a ten pound note. You dont want to be carrying around those coppers, so off to the petrol station for a tenner
  8. Is the bracelet for times when the rainbow bumper sticker doesnt say it all?
  9. You'll probabl;y find that the council cant put as much pressure on them to clean up their act than they ould a private home owner, for fear of "council is singling out poorer tennants" or "council house tennants victimised" cries.
  10. I thought you had a car Rob, not a plane? The reason I ask, is I can see a cockpit in this one....
  11. In fact - Id check that quarter panel for dents
  12. Im fairly certain that the parents are responsible for a childs actions, therefore yes, you should be able to take action for criminal damage against the parents. If the parent you speak to does not want to be named in any such legal action, then I would suggest you ask them to have a sit down chat with their child and/or the other parents and decide who is going to pay to fix your car privately before they all recieve a solicitors letter. Likelihood is that you will get the door shut in your face and a parent who couldnt give a stuff, such is the quality of parenting of these scrotes these days.
  13. I knew we should have made the logo a trademark.
  14. I refused to refer to it as anything other than a cob. The girl serving yesterday did look at me like I was speaking Japanese when I said, Sausage Cob, but I just kept repeating it along with pointing towards the sausages until the penny dropped. I supose it cant be helped, these southerners that wont venture past watford gap. You dont need jabs to come up north you know
  15. Yup - it was a great day - fantastic weather and a MASSIVE show with a brilliant stand too. The world of the Z showing off the evolution of the car proved extremely popular! Lots of traders, loads of track action and ultimately one of the best shows ever attended yet again. Thanks to all who came, it was great to meet some new faces and chat with old ones too (figuratively speaking that is ). Cant wait for the next one!!!
  16. Its a cob. one B, Cob. It cant be a Roll, because then when you order a Sausage Roll, you will get a sausage wrapped in pastry, quite difficult to put brown sauce or an egg on. It cant be a bap, as they have nipples. Its a cob.
  17. Did they issue with a certificate when they completed the works, and are they registered under the Part P competent persons scheme? If not, then you could report the matter with photos to Ofgem, Corgi and Trading Standards. They should not have a license to operate if that is what they leave behind. A Live ring main left taped up and in the roof space! Not part P qualified myself, but I know thats just incredibly stupid and dangerous.
  18. Will be heading down later this afternoon - stopping up the road from the Premier Inn, but can make it there for 7.30. Anyone about tonight for a few shandy's ?
  19. It appears that the measures taken to restrict the bots are no longer working. Will have a look and see what can be done. Also there seems to be some new chinese bot thats crawling the site a lot now. Why cant they just stick to their censored internet in China -it was better for us. I reckon since Google backed out of China, they have taken to developing their own rival..
  20. Oilman on here will be able to advise on specifics, but the Silkolene Pro S is what a number of people here use
  21. They have been fitted really well - the smoothing in is great. Are they one piece panels, or are they bonded and filled? If so, are there any issues with cracking? Looks a great job to me
