Thats a totally different manner! I meant you couldnt just pump the whole house without making lots of other changes, including not just using your normal run of the mill twin impeller pump and now moving to the whole house pump. If you pump the whole lot, then your limiting factor will surely be the rate of flow from the header tank to the hot water cylinder? With enough taps open wouldn't a whole house pump run the risk of emptying your hot water in double quick time, or possibly even drawing in air from the header tank? Ive never seen a whole house pump in action, but I would imagine they may not be as quiet as a normal shower pump. Also if a hot tap opens as well as the shower You will still need to retain the vent back to the header tank from the hot water cylinder though.

If its only the one room you want to increase the hot water pressure, then if you take a flange off the tank and a feed from the cold water storage, then a single pump will be fine for the shower I believe. You couldnt pump the whole house in this manner though. There is a whole wealth of info on diynot.com.

Have to say it really looked well in Wales. With yours and colins parked together they certainly drew some attention. Didnt get chance to hear it though, is it very much the same noise from the standard box or has this been tweaked for the 370 too? I reckon you and Colin have the best of both the light and dark colour spectrum.

Mine wasnt great Neil. Im getting 12-16 litres a minute at the house, as I have about 100ft or so of 15mm running from the meter to the house. Only solution for me to get more was a new main from the road down the drive. Luckily for us the 12l/min is just fine for the shower so we didnt need to upgrade the mains. I can imagine with more than the two people in the house, then there may be the possibility of capacity issues at 12-16l/min. If there is an issue then another solution would be to retain the tank/s, but use them to feed a 3bar 30l/min pump which in turn feeds the unvented system. it just mimicks a 30l/min 3 bar mains until such time as your feeder tank runs out, at which point it drops back to the 12l/min. In effect if you are running off 30L/min and the mains is 12L/min, then you are draining your tank at 18L/min. with a 50 gallon tank thats going to take about 12 minutes to empty it. Or around 360 litres in that 12 minutes, or about 4 baths!

More bad times on the Cumbrian coast

Just watching this on the news now, its crazy -
We've just had ours changed to an unvented cylinder type system which gives us equal hot and cold mains fed pressure. Its made a massive difference to our shower. The goal was to make it just like ones you get at hotels and it has succeeded. Not the cheapest solution by any means, but it has improved our heating and hot water no end. The improvements to the heating and the fact it hets up a lot quicker now also mean that we should save some money on gas too.

If the valuers for the bank are still up to usual tricks, then they will possibly value it for less than the agreed sale price (even if that is already lower than the asking!), resulting in a larger deposit required, so worth bearing in mind when wishing to secur the mortgage. Mortgage advisors and estate agents were getting incredibly frustrated by this just a few months ago as it was causing lots of deals to collapse, along with their respective chains.

here you go mart - finally the upload finishes.... Not bad

It wasnt lime prime Mart, it was the Autoglym rapid detailer that was used first I believe.

Darren B was mentioning the same thing happening to his at Wales, perhaps he has found what was causing his?

The speed of the upload today is just ridiculous - its still only 20% through uploading 111 pics. Ill get there soon, honest. If the pics of Martins dont convince anyone that Supernatural is a decent wax, then nothing will. I got myself a pot after seeing the results on Martins and my own car. Though I didnt take any pictures of mine after it wa done

I would like to echo all the commenst thus far, the organisation of the event was agaion second to none. The input shown by others outside the organising team was very welcomed and I cant praise them enough too. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend and cant wait until the next one. In the meanwhile I shall certainly be going to the shows and looking forward to meeting some of you all again soon Next one is Modified Live by the way, followed soon after by many others, check the meets section for more details. A resounding success and thanks again to Colin and Dave for their efforts.

Just uploading my photos now Martin Ridiculously slow upload speed today, so going to be at least another half hour or more.

For a point of clarity rather than drawing up a specific list, if your actions behind the wheel would get you in trouble with the law during one of our events, then they will get you into trouble in the club too. The severity of the action will depend on the severity of the offence.
-
As above, we will not be discussing names or actions here. The two affected by the temporary bans and or event exclusions have been notified.
-
No names or details will be posted. Suffice to say we provide the driver briefings at each event, and have made it clear that any driving considered dangerous will not be tolerated. If people wish to drive in that manner, they do NOT do it at our events.

All, During the course of the Wales weekend the driving styles of some individuals were well below the standards we expect at our events. Not only did members of the team witness this driving but we received complaints from other members of the club and local traffic police received complaints from members of the public also. We hold driver briefings at the start of each event and in the past have had traffic officers also speak to the group before our events. It appears that these instructions and briefings are blatantly being ignored by a minority. We take the safety of our events extremely seriously. Any actions which jeopardise the safety of our members or members of the public simply will not be tolerated. Having reviewed the incidents reported to us and witnessed by the team we are taking the following actions effective immediately: One member is receiving a 2 week forum ban and being placed on 12 months probation of event exclusion. One member is receiving a 1 month forum ban and is excluded from all club events for 12 months. The above penalties may seem severe; however we take the safety of our events extremely seriously and must impose such measures before there are any serious consequences from this driving style. As above, we take the safety of our events extremely seriously and trust that members will understand why we feel it necessary to take this action. Regards, The 350Z-uk.com Team.
