It is with heavy heart that I’ve decided to put my 370Z up for sale. I have owned the car for just over six years now but due to lack of use, under 2,000 miles a year for the last few years – most of which was to keep it healthy, I feel it’s best to sell on so someone can get the enjoyment out of it. I spent a long time searching for the ‘right’ 370Z having previously owned a 350Z for five years. I drove from Kent to Huddersfield to buy this one. The car was owned by another (former?) member CMP999 before me but did have another unknown owner in between for a year or two. The car is a manual 370Z GT Model in Lemans Blue (RAE) and is a 61 plate (I will be keeping the private plate) the car has just over 50,000 miles on the clock but may rise ever so slightly as I try to take it for a run at least weekly to keep it in good health. The car was last serviced and MOTd at Abbey Motorsport in June this year, the MOT is valid until 2 July 2026. The car has full service history. Whilst in my ownership the car has been serviced and MOTd annually regardless of mileage by Abbey Motorsport and any issue has been rectified. I have upgraded parts as part of this and these are detailed below. I have receipts for over £12K for all work and modifications carried out whilst I’ve owned the car. Everything works as it should (as far as I’m aware) and other than some light stone chips on the front bumper the car is pretty immaculate. The Rota wheels on the car are like new with no scuffs or marks at all, they were fitted in June 2021 at about 39k so the wheels and tyres have only done about 10,000 miles, the car had full four wheel alignment carried out when the wheels were fitted by Abbey Motorsport. Engine/Exhaust · ECUTEK map by Abbey Motorsport producing 323HP at the hubs (printout available) · ECUTEK Bluetooth OBD control/monitoring module · HKS Super Air Filters · ISR Post MAF tubes · Cobra HFCs · Full Cobra exhaust · Password JDM engine dress up hardware · GReddy radiator/expansion tank caps · Genuine NISMO alloy oil filler cap Suspension/Handling · Whiteline 24mm adjustable rear sway bar · ECUTEK adjustable traction control Brakes · Standard Akebono calipers · DBA 4000 T3 Slotted Discs (front and rear) · EBC Yellow Stuff pads (front and rear) Exterior · Wheels - Rota Grid Drifts (Steel Grey) 19 x 9.5 ET38 Front and 19x10.5 ET20 Rear, with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres (255/40/19 & 285/35/19) with new cloned TPMS so original wheels can be fitted straight back on for winter etc. · Battle Aero ducktail spoiler (imported from US) · EVO-R Carbon fibre B-pillar and door handle covers · Smoked sequential side repeaters · Genuine NISMO alloy fuel filler cap · LED rear numberplate lamps Interior · Nissan GTR start button · Genuine NISMO Duracon shift knob · Genuine Nissan Luxury boot mat with 370Z logo · Genuine Nissan space saver spare wheel (alloy not the steel 350Z one that requires a spacer to fit) All items I’ve removed I’ve kept which will come with the sale as follow: · Standard alloy wheels and nuts · Standard rear spoiler · Standard rear sway bar · Standard rad/expansion tank caps · Standard oil cap · Standard MAF pipes · Standard rear numberplate lamps · Standard side repeaters · Standard cats (I don’t have the rest of the standard exhaust as this was removed by a previous owner) · Standard gear knob · Standard start button I am in absolutely no rush to sell and it would be great if it went to another enthusiast but I would rather keep it than entertain silly offers. I am asking for £14,995 OVNO for the car including all the standard parts I’ve removed (which are worth a fair amount on their own). If anyone’s interested, I’m happy to discuss the car over the phone/email in more detail, please PM me for contact details. More pictures are available on my instagram here https://www.instagram.com/bunning370Z/ but I will add some more photographs over the weekend or can take specific photographs upon request.

Jap350 started following Throttle body won’t open !
-
Hi, driving to work car randomly went into limp, found out throttle body won’t open and I have throttle body codes 1122 and 1126. Car won’t rev past 1500 when warm. Stuggles to start due to throttle body not opening. I have replaced ipdm as it was badly corroded no change. I get response from pedal position sensor and throttle body when manually opened in live data. I have tried a new throttle body aswell and no change. I have also checked power to the thottle body connector I have one wire that gives power with the ignition on. I have cleaned all earths I can find and checked any loose wires or corrosion on any connector related and the ecu. Any ideas where to go next ?

It's not the infamous, but easily fixed, rear axle click? If so drop a rear wheel and have a look at the rear drive shaft nut in the centre of the hub. There is a thin pressed steel cap which goes over the nut and has castellations for the split pin. It's this thin pressing that is rotating slightly (clicking) because the thin steel castellations will be distorted. Fit a proper machined castellated nut instead, buy the kit from Torqen or Tarmac Sportz. 20 minute job to fit.

Garage inspected P/S pump and steering rack and found no obvious problems with either, not externally anyway. I don't know if it's possible that something has gone wrong with the steering rack internally which can't be seen externally? They have recommended I take it to a specialist wheel alignment place. They reckon if there is an alignment issue it could cause the weird power steering. I'm not so sure, but willing to give it a go. The power steering still works, it's just very sluggish. I think we would all agree that when you crank the wheel when turning a corner, and suddenly let go, the wheel normally springs back in an attempt to centre itself. It does on every other power steering I've ever used anyway. But in my car at the moment, it doesn't do that. It may move back a bit, but it doesn't really get anywhere close to coming back to centre, you would effectively keep going the same way you cranked the wheel. It's as if the steering is in treacle! You would have to manually move the wheel back to centre position. That's definitely not normal. I don't know what everyone else's Z is like but in the 10 years I've had mine, I've never felt anything wrong with the steering until now so I'm sure it's not just me being picky.
