When does your 370 reach an over temperature situation?

More info required. When does it reach an over temperature situation? Are you N/A or forced induction?

At £30k it might be worth a look, but at £50k it’s still bonkers.

Could be a number of things, like a stuck closed thermostat, failed water pump, clogged radiator, seized cooling fan motors are very common on the Z. Do they spin when you turn the aircon on?

Are they genuine nissan or oe spec? Had nissan oem rocker covers fitted at tarmac in October and have no problems. I don't track the car though. If you do use it on track it might be worth looking at the aluminium ones as they are obviously more heat resistant and serviceable from what I've heard.

How long is a piece of string! Could be engine oil, pump.... could be rad, fans... could be rad cap... water pump, pulley / pump drive... could be many things. VQs run hot, has this suddenly started or slowly got worse? Have you recently done any mods or jobs when this started? And silly question but have you checked it is actually overheating and not faulty sender etc? You didn't say if your heater gets hot, when you filled the system and burping it. You want it on full, and if it's not getting hot you have an air problem. Thermostats you can check in a boiling saucepan and digital thermometer. Probably if it were me and based on what you've done so far (and assuming the engine has oil) I'd stick a temp probe on to confirm it's overheating and not a sender / gauge fault, and if so loosen the drive belt and give the water pump pulley a wiggle, then stick a pressure gauge inline to test water pump impeller.

Hi all newbie here👋 Had a 350z for 4 year now and been through 2 new sets of rocker covers. Cheap Ebay specials at first, started leaking towards the rear of engine and into spark plug tubes. Expensive Tarmac sportz ones were the exact same. Both sides have leaked at one point or another. New seals included in the covers and correct gasket material/seal has been used. There is not damage to the head that I can see after cleaning off the old sealant. Problem looks like the cover warping as they are not flat at all once removed. Can anyone help or have a solution? Or what's peoples opinions on the aluminium covers?

Hi to all, Hope somebody can please help me this one is driving me crazy. I have purchased this 370z with an overheating problem, I have replaced the thermostat and now removed It just for test purposes, I have drained and refilled the system múltiple times using all the bleed processes I could find (bleed screw on radiator, very slow filling, high burp funnel and vaccum filling), every time I refill I have bubbles coming out of the system mainly after light reving of the engine (run for nearly 3 hours and still have bubbles), assuming It was going to be a head gasket I have done 3 chemical tests all negative (one on the expansión tank, one on the main cap, and one with little coolant in the system on the main cap) Also tested the tester by putting It in the end of the exhaust and It changes colour instantly) Also disconnectd all pipes etc and blown through with compressed air in case of a blockage. Any help would be much apreciated and I apologize if this posted in the wrong section. Many thanks.

Is anyone in and around birmingham able to help swap a stock exhaust on my 350 roadster to a cobra one? Will pay for time ofcourse. Want to try with someone else before having a go on my cars myself
