Wendy
Hi, I am looking to get a set of Rays refurbished. Anyone know and can recommend anyone. I preferably would like someone relatively local. I am just north of Banbury in Oxfordshire. I rang Pristine in Milton Keynes, I thought their £108 per wheel was a tad high, especially when you note on here people are selling Rays at £300 regularly. newkid
Platinum alloys in swindon are the best i have used but a fair distance from you
Wendy
Thanks for the suggestion. Finally I found the Company I used in 2012 for another set of wheels on my Corrado. BJV Engineering in Kings Langley - really reasonably priced in 2012 and excellent quality of work. So, hopefully when I call them tomorrow, prices won't be in the silly region.
Ridz
The Wheel Specialists have branches nationwide. I used the Manchester branch to refurb my Rays almost 2 years ago and the still look like new! Would recommend them.

ZedManTID
If you don't mind the treck then Maxpowder in Hemel Hempstead will do a top job
Wendy
Bobby D - BJV Engineering have just quoted me £216 inc Vat for a set of 18" Rays painted in Black This is a supply wheels only with tyres on price, so this price includes removing them/refitting them. From my last job, I would have no hesitation in using them again. Wendy
AliveBoy
Around Surrey, obviously dependent on finish etc, the norm is around £60 a wheel, so £216 is good IMO
Wendy
Absolutely ! From where I started at £432 , half price. !! And............ I know BJV and their work and cannot fault it. Shame it is over an hour away - but hey !!
Ekona
BJV are superb, they've done two sets of 350 wheels for me, plus numerous sets of MR2 wheels for my track car.
Mudman
For the Norfolk Zedders I have used a local guy who has a mobile service - did my Rays for £45 a shot in the work car park
ts743
Here in Shropshire there's a local powder coaters that I've used quite a few times. Excellent job @ £130 for 4 wheels, includes blasting and powder coating. I know that's nowhere near you, but gives an indication on price. Sam Mcgoo
Wow that's cheap, Abbey charged me 275 for all four Don't be too down. I paid over £500 to have mine done! It was on 3 piece split rims and wasn't just a single colour though. Bloody good job and would highly recommend the Wheel Genie in Huntingdon.
