Uneven wear - replacement options

Hi 350z-uk,

I've had my Z about 9 months now, I've known since that time that one of the rears was overly worn. Just got it back from its MOT and the tread is at 2.7 mm with the other three being between 5 and 6 mm, time for a replacement!

Currently it has Bridgestone RE040's on the front and RE050A's on the rear and I've got the standard Rays alloys so looking at the same sizes of 225/45 18" / 245/45 18".

I've read through the sticky's and about popular opinion on here (read:MPSS!) so I'd like to know peoples thoughts on my options:

1. RE050A's on the rear

2. MPSS on the rear

3. MPSS on all four corners

Thanks!

Given how incredibly crap the 040s are, I'd be chucking that pair on eBay and moving to MPSS all round.

^^ This.

Plenty of people will buy part worns from eBay so they should sell no problem.

I wouldn't mix tyres so MPSS all round is a winner, winner, chicken dinner.:D
