Vlad Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015  I got degree in photography... What's wrong? I think zoom and contrast are pretty perfect ! It must have expired? Didn't they teach you about the subject matter? Yes I know you captured the specific issue but at least get the wheel in the photo properly. It is properly in...not fully in, but in 1 Quote

Rock_Steady Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I had the same issue on my GT4. I could get a playing card between the wheels and the callipers, never had a problem, never scratched the paint off. 1 Quote
docwra Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 They will expand when they get hot so I am not sure I would want to run them that close. So will the wheels and alloy expands faster than steel Mine are close to fag paper clearance and never had problems, can understand your concern but it should be right Quote
Vlad Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Woohhoooo! That re-assured me! Still ordered 6mm spacers - just for that 1mm extra lol Quote

The alloys will expand quicker than the calipers. It wont be by a visible amount but the calipers do look really close. Maybe the extra 1mm will help here Quote
Ekona Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 So the wheel could expand to meet the caliper, then? 1 Quote
SHEZZA Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) So the wheel could expand to meet the caliper, then? Took the words right out of my mouth. I'm no scientist but won't they expand towards each other in that case. Personally I'd just get the 10mm spacers and be done with it. Edited March 17, 2015 by SHEZZA Quote
docwra Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 So the wheel could expand to meet the caliper, then? Stupid boy, wheels only expand outwards I dont think anything will expand enough to make any difference TBH, we are talking microns here, but it never hurts to be safe 1 Quote
