New wheels are really close to calipers

Didn't they teach you about the subject matter? Yes I know you captured the specific issue but at least get the wheel in the photo properly. :teeth:

It is properly in...not fully in, but in :D

They will expand when they get hot so I am not sure I would want to run them that close.

 

So will the wheels and alloy expands faster than steel ;)

 

Mine are close to fag paper clearance and never had problems, can understand your concern but it should be right :)

Actually that's a good point. The alloys will expand quicker than the calipers.

 

It wont be by a visible amount but the calipers do look really close. Maybe the extra 1mm will help here :D

So the wheel could expand to meet the caliper, then? ;)

 

Took the words right out of my mouth. I'm no scientist but won't they expand towards each other in that case.

 

Personally I'd just get the 10mm spacers and be done with it.
