I thought it looked bloody good in the flesh. The styling is fresh and you can clearly see a lot of effort had gone into managing the air around the car. Quote

The BMW I have now will be the last internal combustion powered machine I buy.... But the i8 what a waste of time/money, a Tesla S is cheaper/faster/more economical/and a lot more practical Quote

Randy_Baton Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I work for an energy supplier so we get most of the electric vehicles in. They wouldn't let us drive the i8, but I got sit in it . I took the i3 out for a spin and found it a really enjoyable experience (for what it is). Comfy, really quite, and quite rapid acceleration up to ~30mph, obviously floored it as soon as I was out of the car park. If I was looking for something to get around town in I'd consider buying it for the wife (if I had one). Quote
